There could have been variations over the successive generations of the original sealing jutsu since Bijuus were passed from village to village, however, since Kurama recognized the Uzumaki seal as that of Rikudou Sennin's then it's logical to conclude that the Uzumaki Sealing Jutsu was the original sealing jutsu that the Sage used from where the variant jinchuuriki seals were derived from.

Btw, the Uzumaki were annihilated due to other nations that saw them as too great of a threat. Could it be that the So6P was a factor in that? If you knew such a strong Uzumaki existed, you would naturally start to fear the Uzumaki.

Uzumaki are basically a branch originated from the younger son's descendants i think.....maybe and the sealing jutsu was perhaps passed through them....the other branch possibly the senjus migrated to the forest......maybe there was some strife within the branches....but later on during the time of hashirama both clans came closer again probably...

1. DISTANT RELATIVE- we know the senju are directly related to the sage uzimaki are merely senju off spring basically a branch family
