Why Didn't Itachi Seal Nagato When He Got KO By Amaterasu? Plot No Jutsu helped Nagato to Prolong The Fight.
And Also Why didn't Itachi's susanoo destroy nagato instead of cutting his arms ( When itachi saved naruto and bee from nagato)

They are both top tier ninja, Itachi is a genius prodigy even among the Uchiha, with eyes containing the legendary sword and mirror on his Susanoo, but Nagato is an Uzumaki who was given the fully-evolved eyes of Madara. He has the ridiculous chakra and vitality of Uzumaki plus the pinnacle of Uchiha eyes. Basically the best of both worlds. That's the reason he's my favorite I guess

First off I loved this episode and was really looking forward too it, however I feel like it may have refeuled the Itachi beats Nagato feud. I feel like both Nagato and Itachi got they're props in this fight(anime and manga), but without Bee and Naruto, Itachi could not stop chibaku tensei. Therefore Itachi did not own Nagato.

P.S. Would still love to see a full out fight between them!

Itachi vs 6 paths of pain and he'll lose lol. Itachi would start off with genjutsu but Rinnegan i above MS and Nagato mastered his Rinnegans but we never seen genjutsu used on him. (Frog song is a sound base genjutsu which is different from visual genjutsus). The fact that Itachi didn't use any genjutsus on Nagato could be that he knew i wouldn't work, who knows. any ways Nagato is controlling the bodies from far away and since they all see what the other sees, not all of them have to look at Itachi. Amaterasu, Sasunoo, and fire jutsus. Pain can pull Itachi out of Sasunoo too. If Itachi kills 1 then Pain will revive them, and that's the number 1 body they proect so Itachi will notice this at least after seeing it revive them.

Itachi would be fighting the one that pulls out souls, the one that summon with it's many summons (I don't think they could be control since Pain is already controling them and Itachi used kunias on 2 of them instead of genjutsus) and the one who's body is a weapon. Itachi can't spam Amaterasu because he has low samina, disease, going blind and suffers from MS usage so he has to take out the reviving body to really have a chance but Pain would repel any attacks Itachi sends and the other bodies and summons would be attacking him.

So where did Itachi solo exactly? Logicly if you compare Itachi and Nagato, Nagato would win do to having more stamina than Itachi and more counters. Only an Itachi fanboy would say Itachi solo'd.

Complete idiot. Itachi has nothing to stop Nagato other than Kabuto sucking ass at controlling edos. Not only that 9 tails and 8 tails were there. Two top ten tier shinobi with Itachi.

Eh, as an Itachi fan, it's always been clear to me who shone brighter in the fight.

Now that it's animated, the bull****, damage-control interpretations are put to rest.

Itachi solo'd, he had to babysit Naruto and Bee because both of them were patheticly weak and Itachi had to do all this while fighting Nagato. Not to mentio save them.

Itachi found the Rinnegans blindspot without and knew how to counter Chibaku Tensei in no time and could have destroyed it on his own if he wanted to, he just made good use of the situation since Naruto and Bee were there.
