There is never a thread to discuss the anime? Which leads to questions being asked in the discussion section because there is nowhere else to talk about it. As the anime is going to get more intense from here on out because of the war I am going to be making discussion threads for the anime every week (probably not fillers).

I gave it a four because the animation and drawing of some of the characters was terrible

The biggest mistake in this episode was that while sealing Nagato, the susano'o was acting all alone and Itachi was standing out of it without controlling it. That's a shame to an Uchiha.

While making the bijuudama, the whole hachibi was shaking instead of the bijuu ball. That was funny.

The animation was so BAD, I didn't even care. That's really all I can say. It was actually so bad that my standards of naruto episodes dropped so low I just had to stop complaining and watch.



I didn't get any feeling from itachi's speech to naruto, it felt much more powerful in the manga to me.



Damn Nagato was trolled. A guy that wrecked the hidden leaf and was holding down naruto's sage mode and then 6 tails kyuubi mode which took many episodes to handle. He was handled in like 5 mins. I guess you could say because his opponents were so powerful but wow that made him look like no threat at all.




The naruto friends scene should have been quick animated coloured flashes of all his friends, it felt like it dragged on to long like each one of his friends was getting an intro.



Some times you just watch the opening and the animation there and then watch the episode and show exactly this face :|

3/5. No, I'm not an Itachi hater, I thought these chapters were awesome in the manga. It's just that the animation sucked for this, big time. Why has the standard of animation dropped in Naruto now? =(

I don't understand why so many people complain about animation. In my opinion this episode and the episode before both had good animation, while only a few seconds had bad animation. If you watch the last episode you can see that there was a lot of good animation in it, but people only focus on the bad (e.g. The rock being launched at Naruto from the water).

On topic; Episode was good, seeing Nagato and Jiraiya as Nagato was being sealed was great. I give the episode a 4/5, I don't give it a 5/5 because I felt the bit with the Konoha 11 and all that was a bit dragged out, and could have easily made a long-shot with all of Naruto's friends instead of spending 5 minutes on it. I don't really care about the animation, because it was good enough for me and I think people are being over-dramatic with it when it really isn't that bad. Sure it could use a bit of improvement, but it is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

There was really so many scenes in this were the drawings were just absolutely terrible. No one is asking for amazing animation every episode but the normal standard of normal episodes is dropping too low animation wise.

If we go back to things like the 5 summit arc the animation was fluent through out that whole arc so why is it dropping now, shouldn't it be at least staying the same or improving? It should never drop.

Pretty good episode. Sad to see the crow die. Naruto could have just taken the eye out and kept him as a pet. I really cant wait for next weeks episode though. Out of all the resurrected shinobi, the 2nd mizukage was my favourite. I cant wait to see him fight!
