And It seems you can't understand. Of course 6vs.1 is a advantage in any fight, but as long as Itachi can keep his Susanoo up, the Pains combos are meaningless. They can act together and attack at once, but they can't even damage Susanoo with their techniques. As I already said, Susanoo is ultimately strong, fast and protects him from any attack, it even possesses the two ultimate weapons.

And don't care about the scenario, we both know Itachi is more intelligent than Nagato. He keeps in every situation calm, analyses the situation immediately and read his opponent like an open book.

And yeah, against Chibaku Itachi has IMO a counter too - Amaterasu is certainly faster than the cores activation, he can cast Amaterasu even on Deva when he's forming the sphere. And don't forget Chibaku Tensei takes much chakra, so the other Paths won't act during it, similar to the Shinra Tensei.

In fact, Pain and Itachi are equal.

susanoo can be absorbed. yata mirror and totsuka sword can be shinra tensei'd/bansho tenin.

LOL read manga, itachi can't counter chibaku tensei with amaterasu, itachi can't even react when nagato throws the core.

deva just needs to stay out of itachi's line of sight, until he throws the core,as he did with the kyuubi. or one huge shinra tensei and while itachi is recovering from the hit he can throw the core.

Pain would actually have an easier time against Itachi than Nagato imo. Pain's a pretty bad match up for Itachi (not to mention he's just plain stronger).
Pain low-mid difficulty. For Nagato it would be mid-high difficulty.

Tsukiyomi affects all at once. Itachi can easily tsykiyoi, say, the dog. Then begins the stabbing.

It's true that Chibaku Tensei might trump anything Itachi has, but it's equally true that Deva Path could go down before using, and probably can't use it unless all the other Paths have been defeated (like with Naruto) therefore making him an easier target for genjutsu, etc. In my opinion, the author implied that Itachi, along with Nagato, Bee, and Naruto were on a higher level than Pain by having Naruto go on about how much faster and stronger than Pain Nagato was.

Pain takes this pretty easily. With all six bodies together with no plot induced handicaps, there is very little reason to believe Pain won't stomp.

Itachi has a limited 2.5 stamina which has implications for his chakra capacity. Too much Taijutsu means little Genjutsu and Ninjutsu; too much Ninjutsu and Genjutsu and that means very little Taijutsu. Though Itachi will likely opt for the latter because Taijutsu against all six bodies is suicide.

If Itachi goes in straight away, he might get one body - two if he's lucky - with surprise Susanoo attacks. However there are still powerhouses like Demon Realm and God Realm which would stop Itachi in his tracks, while Hell Realm revives whoever 'died'. That's a lot of chakra taken right there for an attack which was futile.

Itachi can't exactly stay long ranged because then it means using attacks that Pain can repel or absorb, even throwing tools Pain can deflect or guard against. Totsuka will still be absorbed, so that's out of the game and the long range distance means Yata's mirror can only help temporarily. Temporarily because Pain can use underground summons to attack, and Itachi can't afford to shift his focus away from Pain. On top of that, with Susanoo draining life force, Itachi isn't going to outlast Pain. Further Amaterasu would be pointless due to God Realm and Preta Realm.

Though this Susanoo shindig is counteracted by the classic "Pain can use BT to get Itachi out of Susanoo". And if he's being drawn in he's open to the attacks of 5 Realms; one of which can render Ninjutsu useless.


Maybe reduce the number of bodies, because with all six, Itachi just stands no chance.
