Has Naruto truly surpassed Minato?

But, most of NB believes that Naruto has truly surpassed his father in all aspects of being a Ninja.

I am a great big Naruto fanboy myself, but do you really think this is true? Does Naruto really dwarf Minato's Thunder God abilities paired with his strong intellect and Fuuinjutsu?

Yes. There is nothing that Minato could do to Naruto in a fight unless he used Reaper Death Seal, then it would technically be a tie.

He teleports. He isn't necessarily traveling. He stops existing in the current dimension and then exists again where his FTG seal is. He is "faster" than light because light still travels. In short, teleportation is faster than light.

anyone who says minato wont be able to react fast enough to bm naruto based off the raikage punch is a moron. reread the manga.

minato had time to set up a counter attack with his kunai WHILE the raikage was charging him. just because he might not be able to set up that counter attack while narutos charging him, it doesnt take away the fact he can still dodge it.

honestly use some common sense. dodging the raikages punch by a split second would be a much better option than dodging it earlier. when the raikage came so close to hitting him, he anticipated that he would land the punch. thus catches him off guard and easily vulnerable to a counter attack. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.

Plus... I still think that Minato's brains are way above Narutos... If u can strategize in a matter of seconds a way to counter attack Obitos kamui.... then I think Minato would find or have a way to suppress Kurama...

He was taught the sealing techniques from Kusina and whoever... the last Jinchuuriki... so i'm sure they had their own ways of how to suppress Kurama if she had ever lost it... she seemed like quite the hot tempered person...

Naruto is constantly messing up and I think he is a genius of learning from mistakes or giving things a try... (He's my favourite character lol)

So although I am assuming..... I would think Minato has better control of his speed and battle strategy than Naruto would...
Mainly cause Naruto is still young and a lil bit immature I believe soon he would have the right smarts to do what Minato could do or even more ...
Until the day naruto uses his speed as well as minato did to counter Obito then Minato would be better in my opinion... Even though narutos techniques would DESTROY minatos lol

Only if he went there and placed the seal first. Teleporting is not speed, it's instantaneous and it requires no movement or traveling. Your body just disappears and reapers at a different place.

Naruto in terms of raw speed has surpassed Minato, but as long as Minato has his seal at a specific place he will get there faster than anyone.

Dodged yondaime Raikage with footspeed but also if you go to that page, you'd note that the gap between Ai and naruto when he reacted to him was slightly greater than the gap between minato and Ai.

Naruto surpassed his old man with SM, and went above him with km.
However thing people have to be aware of is that even though somebody has surpassed another doesn't mean that overall they will be better than them in everything. Kushina and minato will always be above naruto when it comes to fuinjutsu and minato will always be above naruto when it comes to skill. Similar its possible that jiraiya will always be above naruto when it comes to frog based ninjutsu because he was particularly skilled in this area and in fact majority of his techniques are linked with the frogs one way or another

Same thing can be said about the sasuke/itachi scenario. Sasuke has surpassed him, but there will always be things that itachi will be above him in. Tsukuyomi and genjutsu in general. Insight ability and ninjutsu unpredictability and execution.

If you look at the bigger picture instead of trying to grasp at straws naruto like sasuke has surpassed their mediums and infact i believe naruto rivals his true benchmark in hashirama, Sasuke on the other hand, we have yet to see, but it will not be long
