This is how it used to look before the Catholics modified it and claimed it was what the Messiah died on, but it has nothing to do with Him.

Actually thats a Celtic cross... that is a pseudo religious symbol... my family has some in there house even though they aren't christian they have it because of there Irish or Celtic heritage... I also doubt that is the cross he is talking about
