Wouldn't logic make Nagato> Itachi?

Nagato has Rinnegan, Itachi has MS
Therefore Nagato > Itachi

That makes sense however, there is more to these two characters than just their Dōjutsu. It is reasonable to believe a healthy Itachi or Edo Tensei Itachi is on the level of Madara. I have explained this before and I really don't want to do it again. I will if you ask me to. And with Each Volume Madara becomes even more OP which makes my case harder than the first time I made the argument.

Also, Tsukuyomi is probably the most OP Technique in the series. It is instant and irreversible. Despite what people say, Beast Mode can't stop Tsukuyomi. I can prove it if you ask me to.

In a fight killing your opponent is what matters. Tsukuyomi will do that. Since Itachi's Sharingan are always active, he can use Tsukuyomi as soon as a fight starts and win it the second after. It really isn't even fair.

They were revived and paired together which implies they are equals.

Rinnegan and Sharinggan (all eye techs and jutsus in fact) are just tools in the shinobi world. One technique might be stronger than the other.. BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE NINJA USING THEM. A boy with a machine gun is an easy kill for a master assassin with a box cutter.

Itachi is considered to be a genius by everyone. He is a master tactician and arguably the best genjutsu user. His eye techs, although inferior to Rinnegan in paper, would be enough to stop Nagato.

Itachi and Nagato are somewhat equals. Nagato indeed is more powerful, but this isn't DBZ. Intelligence and skills are also important and Itachi is better than Nagato at those things.
