You could join the Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Army, or even just go reserves. I doubt you'll see combat in any of those branches(Though still possible, especially in the Army). As for picking a job you like, the Navy and Air Force give you some form of choice. You could go through processing and see which jobs you qualify for, if you like what you see you could join. If you don't you can just get a DEP discharge and be fine and act like it never happened.

I disagree. I joined the US Marine Corps for the first two, but that wasn't my sole reason why. I joined to better myself and start a good career path. I lack leadership and I couldn't attain that skillset in civilian life, plus you say my country's government is corrupted which will soon change on our next president, but no, not necessarily.not at all

who are patriotic
who love to kill
who need money and dont have talent to earn money.
