You could join the Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Army, or even just go reserves. I doubt you'll see combat in any of those branches(Though still possible, especially in the Army). As for picking a job you like, the Navy and Air Force give you some form of choice. You could go through processing and see which jobs you qualify for, if you like what you see you could join. If you don't you can just get a DEP discharge and be fine and act like it never happened.

Yeah why didn't you like it?

For starters, my peers are super annoying. The common population has a high opinion of us... but really we are a bunch of professional trolls and jacka$$es. I swear, basic training was worse than any frat hands down.

that, plus i'm actually pretty lazy to the core. i do what i gotta do when i gotta do it.. but i never wanna...

not at all
only 3 people joins army:
who are patriotic
who love to kill
who need money and dont have talent to earn money.
I disagree. I joined the US Marine Corps for the first two, but that wasn't my sole reason why. I joined to better myself and start a good career path. I lack leadership and I couldn't attain that skillset in civilian life, plus you say my country's government is corrupted which will soon change on our next president, but no, not necessarily.

Most of you jerks have no respect for the men and women who proudly sign the dotted line into a world that has death written all over it. Especially for those who signed for the infantry field much like me. It disgusts me, and all of you ask for an increase in minimum wage when my pay is half of what $7/ per hour is on a 40 hr week, and I get that every two weeks.

And not all of you would even think of joining because you're afraid. I've never experienced a brotherhood like no other in the USMC. I can't count how many times I've been told by higher ups that no matter what you are one of my own and I'll never disregard you and your questions.

PLUSSSSSSS if you joined for money you're the biggest idiot known to man.

Nah, because there's nothing amazing about going to war.
If you don't die in battle, then the wounds/amputations and/or the trauma will scar your for laugh.
Oh and phantom limb pain is pretty nasty.
