It's another day another dollar for most
It's hard to live free
It's hard for anyone to raise a toast
When we're all slaves to money
Why must we live like sheep to slaughter
Why do we continue to obey
Why do we accept being cannon fodder
When we don't have to do what our masters say
Some call it fate
Some call it destiny
But it matters not when it's too late
When we tackle our every insecurity
Why do we need all these rules
Why do we need to talk of the end
Why do we need senseless killing by fools
When we could have it all my friend
It's not just another dollar for another day
It's life for all to live free
It's a healthy life not lead astray
When we let the world hear what we have to say

Don't you ever wonder why things like the Sandy Hook Shootings happen? Why our own Government, Dems, and Reps alike, lie to our faces only to get away with it? Why world hunger is still a problem? Why there's still racism in this new age? Why we still fight over religion? Why your sexual preference should mean anything to the rest of the world?
Well here's the simple answer.. We as people have stayed far too silent, for far too long. Eyes can be opened, hearts can un-hardened, People can live together, People can help one another, Minds can be healed.. and people have been allowed to judge other's over petty differences for ages!
The key? To set an example, to complete strangers, to your friends, to your loved ones.. and most importantly to your kids. They are the next generation. They will determine how much of this continues.
The President of the United States made a fair point, when he said we needn't wait any longer to take action. Now is the time, this year it should be our priority as a species. We can either keep this up until we kill each other all off, or live, and share the Earth as intelligent people.
