why do ppl deny Danzo was a true hero?

I didn't know the Howling Fox was a Danzo fanboy.

However pure Danzo's intentions were at one point, they eroded when he killed the Toad meant to summon Naruto during Pain's incursion. He allowed Konoha and her citizens to fend for themselves while Naruto wasn't there to protect it. Not exactly a heroic deed.

His intentions were never heroic.He set the Uchihas up,making it look like they were behind the Kyuubi attack by acussing them - he got them sectioned off from Konoha knowing that it would led the Uchihas to wanting to fight back so they could gain proper treatment,and he used the possibility rebelling as an excuse to kill them off so he could gain their power.He even stoped Shisui from using KA to stop the Uchihas,and stole his eye.

I'd say it eroded when he convinced Hanzo to give up his peaceful ways and pointlessly attack the Amegakure orphans, allowing Tobi to manipulate Nagato. Or when he got in the way of the negotiations between the Third Hokage and the Uchiha, necessitating their slaughter, making the Sasuke we know today.

he experimented with orochimaru and plotted with him to overthrow hiruzen.

what is with people thinking konoha is some paragon of peace and anyone who claims to serve it must be a good guy? its the opposite. konohas a corrupt nightmare, mostly BECAUSE people like danzo exist in it. "protecting" konoha doesnt mean your automatically good. and its not a justification. ends dont justify the means.

He's kinda like a terrorist. He thinks what he's doing is right, but it harms people instead.

hes also responsible for konoha not being rubble and for saving da whole world from violent war. he is certainly the best anithero cuz Sasko just dont cut it and obito is a puppet

it wouldnt be a world war. that was useless speculation. and he didnt save it because there were many alternatives to genocide.
also one semi good deed doesnt justify everything else.
