Whose sacrifice is better? Minato's or Itachi's?

Itachi...not only did he kill his clan, he then lived his life as a criminal only for Konoha. Minato on the other hand died a hero.

Minato. He Sacrifice his life and his wife to save the village, and sacrifice his son(as a painful jinchuriki life) to save the future.

If Itachi did not kill Uchiha Clan, Uchiha Clan take over world unless Tobi Bad Group do something about it.
If Minato did not kill himself, Kushina, and Seal Fox, Fox and Tobi take over world unless Uchiha do something about it.
But who duh stronger one? Uchiha Clan or Tobi Bad Group and Fox? I mean look at it, what if the both of them didn't sacrifice themselves? It's just as bad as the other one.

I personally think itachi's sacrifice is better than minato's. Killing an entire clan is better than killing himself or sacrificing himself along with his wife. Though minato is the savior he was selfish coz he wanted his son to be acknowledged as hero by the village. The similarities between both are both have sacrificed for the village and for their loved one.

I think Minato's was better because we have seen the end result of his sacrifice. Itachi's sacrifice was a gamble, but he got screwed by it. Itachi is an awesome Ninja, but he had a higher risk, with so many people knowing his secret and sasuke finding out. Minato knew the fox would be controlled by Naruto sooner or later.

They both were great, but Itachi not killing Sasuke is basically putting the village and the world at risk right now.

Minato saved his home by sacrificing himself and is pretty much saving the world because of his foresight in knowing Tobi would cause great harm in the future, so he knew his son would need the kyuubi's power. Now it's sealed within Naruto and he's protecting the entire world.

Basically Minato's sacrafice was greater imo because of his incredible foresight in knowing his son would be the child of the prophecy and protect the ninja world, so he gave his son the power to aid him in that quest.

Well, Minato saved the world and Itachi saved a single village, granted. None the less, I side with Itachi. Itachi sacrificed more than just his life and loved ones. As far as out come, Minato; as far as sacrifice, Itachi. I think they both even out.

Where did it say that Minato saved the world by stopping the 9-Tails? As far as I'm concerned it only threatened the Leaf Village.

I think Minato's was greater.They both saved the whole village and prevented war but Itachi left a survivor that is now threatening the village. Although this was a selfless act, it brought about a negative outcome. Minato on the other hand, unlike haters who say he was being selfish by trying to make his son a hero....... sacrificed his only son to save the village. Yes, Minato wanted him to be thought of as a hero, but not in a selfish way. I'm not a Minato fan boy, seeing as I like the Itachi story more than the Minato one, but if you look at the facts, Minato's sacrifice was a little better... That's my opinion...

itachi's scarfice is better than minato. As itachi suffers most of the pain and suffering through out his life. Also working as dual agent he has suffered most.

Well they both saved the village, but I think that Minato's is better, I don't think that there wouldn't be a better solution than wiping the entire clan out, though it was the elders decision not Itachi's.
P.S: Minato's, he thought everythink thoroughly and we will understand it why he did this, shortly.

itachi's sacrifice is faaaaaar greater. he killed his parents and friends n went his whole life being hunted with ppl tryna kill him...he was practically regarded as scum..n his sacrifice didnt stop there..even after all that he was still helping the village by keepin an eye on akatsuki..can u blame him for saving sasuke n trying to purify the uchiha name. minato sacrificed himself n still tried to save his wife. she was the one that jumped in the way of kurama. so minato's intentions were to sacrifice himself for his son n the village.now u tell me wat hokage wudnt sacrifice himself for the younger generation and for village. im suuuure tobirama did that. but ask who wud go thru their life being hated and despised by the village they hold so dear..n hated by a brother u love with all ur heart..so practically all i hav to say is **** u if u think minato's sacrifice was greater. itachi wins..hands dwn

btw. u knw if naruto didnt find real friends like kakashi and iruka he prolly wud hav turned on the village caz they hated him so much right? but no. the ppl who knew of his fathers sacrifice nurtured and cared for him n became a father figure like jiraiya. sasuke had it all then lost it all..n his focus was killing itachi. then he found out the truth...n if u lived in a village then found out that the village itself orchestrated the massacre of ur clan n caused the brother u love so much to be living as a criminal n scum..while the village itself lived happily n the elders of the village pretended like it was nothing, wudnt u want to kill them. wudnt u want vengeance??
