Yeah he would need the holy tree/ten tails for that and its sealed off in another dimension, so its impossible.

Because summoning creatures across dimensions has always been hard for sasuke. Remember he summoned The Rinnehawk in Kaguya's lava Dimension. I don't see whuy he couldn't summon the gedo mazo from the core dimension.

Just because kishi doesn't write it, that doesn't mean its not canon, he could be telling the guy stuff to put in, because he's used to doing manga and not writing novels

It's not canon per se.

These novels run in the same fashion as any anime filler or movie, they have a different writer. Higashiyama even mentioned Blood Prison in the Kakashi novel, something which is as far away from Kishi's creation as Pluto is to Earth

I read that in the new shikamaru novel description, that he will fight against the strongest genjustu user, and most of the uchiha are dead, except Sasuke and i doubt he's gonna fight him, so do you think their will be some type of edo tensei and someone summoned and uchiha or something?

Shikamaru vs sasuke isn't even a fight, sasuke solo glances him before he can even say a word. But it's most likely sasuke but this isn't a fight it's a one sided massacre. No offense to shika fans but sasuke negs

I dont think itachi is the strongest genjutsu user becauser sasuke could break out of his genjutsu what itachi is got is mastery to control what people see inside the genjutsu but that doesnt mean an unbreakable genjutsu.

The ones i would say are the greatess genjutsu users are obviously uchiha

I'm so sick of doujutsu. It's been sharingan this, rinnegan that the entire second half of the manga when it comes to almost everything, including genjutsu. It better be someone who can cast genjutsu without it. Gama Rinsho and Kijo no Rokaku are much cooler than any sharingan genjutsu we've seen. I hope the writer has some imagination and create something on a similar scale to Gama Rinsho and Kijo no Rokaku.
