I don't know why people are saying Menma was fodder. It took ALL of the Akatsuki to corner Menma

Menma was pretty lame, I expected a better fight.

i agree that the end fight shouldve been better, but he fodderized tsunade,minato, kushina, naruto sakura, jaraiya, and yugito. all of these except jaraiya and yugito were done at the same exact time. his version of rasengan did just as much damage to konoha as pains shinra tensei. even in the final battle which looked a lot lamer than it actaully was when you think about it, it took all of akatsuki minus nagato, naruto, and sakura to even get to him. then he showed that he could summon black kurama out of his body and use it like madara does, which could only be matched by naruto doing the same. then when he fully merged with tobi, he gained all of obitos powers combined with his own. after that merge he was basically completely invincible to everything except plot no jutsu. you can argue that minato wasnt at full power, but he showed all the same skills and feats that made him so powerful in the manga, so i would consider your argument null and void. after he fully merged with obito, he basically became obito plus menma. so i think menma should be prefered over obito in almost every scenario possible.

screw that. the fact thast he fodderized minato, tsunade, and kushina all at the same time is wayyyyyy better proof that he is not fodder.

also, the poll needs to get fixed, it was never stated that menmas last name was uzamaki. considering minato is alive, it is almost guarenteed that his last name is namikaze. the only reason naruto is named uzamaki is because when minato died there wasnt anyone strong enough to protect naruto from minato's enemies. if minato had survived the kyuubi attack then naruto's last name would be namikaze as well.
