Village memberships

How do I take back a joining request for a village membership? I acidentally clicked to join another village, not the one I wanted . And how long do I need to wait to be accepted/denied? thanks in advance

1) Just ask the leader of the village (I think)
2) If you're not accepted kinda fast, you won't be accepted.

You ask the Kage of that village to decline your request and submit a new one for the village you really want.
