So that explains everything, why the Uchiha clan have such deplorable hatred.

Extermination was the best choice.

Edit:Who else was surprised that Hashirama was goof ball?He reminds me of Naruto and Goku.

I love the fact that Kishimoto surprised us.

Hahaha no you aren't powerful....you're just sick.

Doctor: Nurse what's the situation?
Nurse: his eyes had started to dialate, but have now taken in a red color as well as an unusual eye pattern.
Doctor: I see, it appears we have a traumatized Uchiha here......we're all gonna die

No, their hatred make them more powerful, where does it say it is a mental issue ?

The explanation Tobirama gave, is equivalent to a brain disorder.IMO

Don't you see that the title is a QUESTION.

And the pic says it all, so if you you can't put two, and two together, that's your problem.

Do you even know what mental disorder is ? Tobirama said that their brains make their eyes to be more powerful and reflect their feelings, not that their brain amplify their emotions.. Dude now seriously.. -.-

*sigh*

Learn to accept other's opinions, and set aside your Uchiha fanboyistic emotions.

and yes, I'm well aware that "fanboyistic" is not a word, I just made it specially for you.

I think this is the first time a thread that should be in the "Naruto discussion" has ended up wrongly in the "General Discussion" :p

OT: This is a fictional mental DNA disorder if you please.

You're calling fanboy the wrong person, if you're unable to understand a manga then you should stop using the pretext: "opinion". I tried to explain you, yet you call me a fanboy, fanboy of who, of the Uchiha ? For your info: I'm an Uzumaki fanboy, and I wouldn't call myself an Uchiha one, but the thing is that I can at least understand what the characters say and not try to make threads with my "opinions" just because I think it is true.

Personally, I think this curse dates all the way to the Ten tails. I think it has something to do with the birth of Rikudo's oldest son while he was the ten tails host. It was even said that the susanoo chakra feels evil, and menacing kind of reminds me of what kakashi said during naruto vs sasuke's fight. When sasuke & naruto jutsu clashed, the black ball chakra was "foul", naruto being distantly on the lineage of the senju and sasuke on the uchiha, it gave us a small taste of the ten tails's/rikudo's power.

So, I think the uchiha clan may be somewhat products of the Ten Tails essence.

yeah cause you clearly just accepted his opinion, think about what you type before you type it. Your just a rude Baser in general; if your going to continue to be rude then just leave the base and go back to facebook.

its not a mental problem. Its how they feel about others. Just like tobirama said, they love to much. They care deeply about their friends and family and when one, for example, is killed or near death, the feelings they feel toward that person are expressed outward via unlocking the sharingan. People who call this a "mental disorder" judge people based on how they act, they don't seem to question why they feel that way. An even better example, sasuke loved his mother and father very much, whether he had other uchiha friends we don't know, he saw his mother and father lying on the floor covered in blood with itachi standing over them. His brother, whose love for each other was almost as close as madara and his brother, is being told that itachi killed everyone in the village and that he is going to spare him because he is weak. Sasuke ran out to see everyone around him dead and than was told on top of it to kill his closest friend to get the same eyes he had. The trauma, stress, and pain sasuke felt unlocked the sharingan as seen in both manga and anime.

Extermination was the best choice. From Itachi's standpoint (who understood the curse), yes it was... it prevented a much larger killing.

Also starting with a topic title in the form of a question, then the 1st line of the post saying "they are mental" is kinda weird... why ask the question if you already "know" the answer.

That IS exactly what a mental disorder is. They have bipolar emotional problems.

Well Tobirama said that they cherish love more powerfully than even the Senju. That's a thing that happens in the brain. Love is associated with certain chemicals so Uchihas probably just get a stronger dose so they're all hardcore. Or maybe it's like crack. Once they got it, and then go cold turkey again it can be like having withdrawals and they're so bad it affects the body. Like the eyes. That sounds like a mental health explanation to me. It's also one explanation for why they would want to withhold it. Love is bad mmkay? Don't do love.
