I just can't deal with the fact that seven of them: Tobirama (Hokage level) , Hiruzen (Hokage level) , Danzo,one Uchiha,one member of the Akimichi clan,and those two Hiruzen's team comrades coudn't take out 20 Mist shinobi.

I think that Tobirama alone should have destroyed them,and no to mention all of them together


Even Obito,when he awekaned his MS,humiliated 20+ Mist jounins.


Or maybe Kishi just wanted to give him a heroic dead,and he didn't know how to do it any other way? What do you think?

dont use obtio....his thing was out of rage its totally different....them uchihas run of hatred for power and whatnot....but i also feel like there is more to that that we dont know about but something was preventing them from beating them ninjas at the time and so tobi died

They were all very young. Hiruzen had most likely hundreds of jutsus yet to master, Danzo was definetly not the same we knew during the summit, one Uchiha and one Akimichi are worth what they're worth and Hiruzen's comrades were surely no better than Danzo.
Tobirama couldn't afford having any of the youngster killed, he sacrificed himself to ensure the future of the village.

You mention Obito and the MS like those are some random powers any fodder in the narutoverse has.
Obito murdered like a dozen of random Kiri Anbu with Mokuton and Kamui while he was enraged. Tobirama's group knew they were being tracked by a special team of at least twenty elite shinobi but had virtually no idea what was coming for them.
Would you go against team made up of the best trackers w/o knowing nothing about them and risks the lives of the rest of your team (comprised of a bunch of kids) and consequently your village?

He died a fodder death to be honest. No way he should've lost to 20 ninja, especially with Danzo, Hiruzen, Kagami and the rest of his team there. 2 Hokage level + another 4 or 5 Jonin should've taken them. And he had FTG and Edo Tensei on his side, yeah I'm not buying it. Are you telling me he wasn't smart enough to teleport all of them back to konoha?

And it's still unclear if Kinkaku and Ginkaku were even there or if it was just the squad.
