The only time drowning via hydrification has ever worked was against Juugo when he had the intelligence of like an ant...Kimimaro easily has the physical strength to burst the bubble or run away to a distance where Suigetsu can't control it.

I mean, does "drowning gg" work against opponents like Sakura, Tsunade, Kakashi etc?

Then Suigetsu just attempts it after Kimimaro's exhausted himself trying to kill him cause he's not going to tire before Kimimaro does, not when the former can literally just sit there and watch as Kimimaro tries to kill him, but fails every time.

And run away? The bubble is Suigetsu (or one of his limbs), either way, it's attached. You can only break free, you can't run.

Drowning GG doesn't work because they can actually beat him, and because they can break out. Kimimaro can break out, but he has no way to put him down.

Kimimaro is healthy so he outlasts him. Suigetsu has to always drink water in order to maintain his water body so Suigetsu isn't going to last that long. As for Suigetsu's offense...sword attacks, water bullets...all tanked.

Sakura and Tsunade can just rip him off their head using the delicate illness extraction jutsu, but Kimmaru is too fast for Suigetsu.
And we've seen that high density attack will turn him into jello.
If kimmaru can somehow distort his body, so that he can't reform, he can win.

That depends on who has more stamina, and who uses more chakra...though I can see Kimimaro outlasting...but it isn't coming to that. You said he has the physical power to break out of the bubble, but that's not how the bubble works.

The bubble is made around the head of the target, just like a helmet. Jugo got caught when he tried to take Suigetsu out. Same happens to Kimimaro. Being strong isn't going to let him break out of water. The people you listed can damage or kill Suigetsu in a way that won't allow this to happen, Kimimaro can't. All his moves are slipped through.

Honestly, if hidrification jutsu costa chakra (like I believe it does) Kimi can outlast him. Its overral a bad matchup, but Kimimaro is at least a tier above Suigetsu.

Honestly that water bubble seems like an OP technique. Kimimaro can sprout bones and "mayfly" through the bones to escape it though.

Kimimaro gets the Jūgo treatment. Perforating the sphere around his head won't accomplish anything, and he is unable to injure Suigetsu at all physically at all. Suigetsu is a hard counter to Kimimaro.
