HOW TO RP: SPEED CHART

You must be registered for see images

✖ DETERMINING SPEED
The Speed Chart is a simple tool that details the various speed levels for biographies as well as the various modes they can enter. Every Bio starts with a Base Speed, dependent on your Ninja Rank, that can be Increased higher. Speed Increases can only be applied in one of 3 ways: Specialties, Character Exclusives, and Skills. Specialties can increase the Base Speed, existing as one of the Specialties listed on the Bio Specialty List or the Approved Effect of a CFS. Character Exclusives are unique to certain characters, gifting them with a higher speed as a part of their individual character rules. These vary character to character and have their own set of requirements. Skills are the most variable because they include the Canon Modes and Jutsu that increase speed as well as potential Custom ones. Only one of each type can be active at a time. To calculate your speed, you can use the following formula: ( "Rank" + "Specialty/CFS Specialty" = Base Speed ) +/x "Skill" = "Final Speed"
  • Example: Someone who is Jounin rank with Secondary Speed Specialty and Leg Weights moves at ( 8 + 2 ) x 2 = 10 Base Speed x 2 = 20 Final Speed

✖ JUTSU SPEED
A new but long needed addition, The Speed Chart now includes speeds for the various Elemental Affinities and Ninjutsu. In the series, elements have been shown to have varying speeds - based on the power of the jutsu, the rank, affinity and more. In addition to this, members have wished for a more viable system to be put into place that enables them more options to dodge techniques logically. With these two thoughts in mind, I decided to work on a system that allows for techniques to now have speeds that are reflected based on their ranks. This system, though simple, has some intricacies related to it that must be mentioned for clarity's sake. First and foremost, the order in terms of slowest to fastest is Earth Release, Water Release, Wind/Fire Release, and Lightning Release. Shown below, the slowest an element can start at is speeds of 2 via E Rank Earth Release with a max base speed of 16 for a Forbidden Ranked Lightning Jutsu.

In addition to the various Elemental fields, every Advanced Ninjutsu except Sound Ninjutsu has an E Rank Speed of 3, or comparable to Fire and Wind. Sound, however, has an E rank speed of 4. Any other ability that produces techniques that can travel have an E rank Speed of 3 ( unless noted otherwise in specific techniques or abilities ), all scaling upwards by 2 per rank. Living entities such as Ninken, Aburame Bugs, etc will have their respective techniques updated to reflect their adjusted/given speeds as well. If a field has an ability or technique that you think needs an actual speed attached, forward the technique to Lord of Kaos.

HOW TO RP: TRACKING

You must be registered for see images

✖ DETERMINING TRACKING LEVEL
The Tracking Chart refers to the Speed a Biography is capable of seeing/sensing. It is important to understand that movement speed and tracking speed are not the same; one refers to the speed of your actual movement and how fast you can navigate the field, the other refers to how fast your eyes can keep up with something or how fast/far away your chakra sensory is able to work. Tracking Increases can only be applied in one of 3 ways: Specialties, Character Exclusives, and Skills. Specialties can increase the Base Tracking, existing as one of the Specialties listed on the Bio Specialty List or the Approved Effect of a CFS. Character Exclusives are unique to certain Canon Characters, gifting them with a higher tracking as a part of their individual character rules. These vary character to character and each has its own set of requirements. Skills are the most variable because they include the Canon Modes and Jutsu that increase tracking as well as potential Custom ones.

To calculate your Base Tracking Speed, use the equation shown: DEX = Base Tracking Level. All other additional Tracking Increases are used to multiply to your Base Tracking Level to calculate your Final Tracking Level. Keep in mind, much like Speed Increases, Tracking Increases are limited in the amount that can be applied at any time. Only One Specialty, Enhanced Senses, and Doujutsu Tracking increase can be applied each.

To calculate your tracking, you can use the following formula: Base Tracking Level x ( Enhanced Senses + Doujutsu ) = Final Tracking Speed
  • Example 1: A Ninja with 5 DEX with Chakra Sensing active: 12 x 2 = 24
  • Example 2: A Ninja with 5 DEX with 3t Sharingan and Chakra Sensing: 12 x ( 3 + 2 ) = 12 x 5 = 60
  • Example 3: A Ninja with 5 DEX with Chakra Sensing and Sage Mode: 12 x ( 4 ) = 12 x 4 = 48*
* Note that Chakra Sensing and Sage Mode both fall under Enhanced Senses. Due to this, the two specialty amounts cannot combine and only the highest one can be applied.

✖ TRACKING DISTANCE
The Ninja World Roleplay is divided by over 200 landmarks. All tracking abilities are able to track a target within the same landmark that your biography is currently in. However, some abilities are able to sense or see over multiple adjacent landmarks. Abilities differ in how they track so the following is a small breakdown on what abilities are able to track over multiple landmarks in the Ninja World.

Can track within the same Landmark:
.Sharingan 1T - 3T
Chakra SensingYin-Yang SensingEmotion Sensing
Heat SensingChildren of TiamatSound Hearing
Can track up to two adjacent landmarks away:
Imperfect Sage ModeKetsuryuganMangekyo/EMSJogan
Can track up to three adjacent landmarks away:
ByakuganPerfect Sage ModeInuzuka Smell
RinneganNine-Tailed Chakra ModeOtsutsuki Tenseigan
Can track up to four adjacent landmarks away:
TendōganTailed Beast Mode
Can track up to five adjacent landmarks:
Six Paths Sage Mode
Can track up to Six adjacent landmarks:
Kaguya Otsutsuki

Please note that being able to track over multiple adjacent landmarks do not Stack, this means only the farthest tracking ability is counted, only using that method of tracking. Likewise, some tracking abilities require specific conditions to be met in order to track over a distance. For example, Zetsu bio's require them to be in their Mayfly to track via roots, while Inuzuka can only track smells from landmarks their target has previously been. Having the Sixth Sense Specialty increases the range of all sensory abilities by two landmarks. No tracking ability is able to track across Ocean Landmarks with the only exception being Mind's Eye of Divine Entertainment and Kaguya's sensory.
