I just did a quick re read, it doesn't show Hashi with any in his back until chapter 656. Those this is a quick read I may have missed something. Can't provide scans of what doesn't exist. Also I posted a scan of Madara generating the rod, is that not good enough? Do you want a scan of the rods in Nagato? If so that's easy no problem. The rods also have precidence of interfering with gathering of natural energy and stopping movement.

hashirama was already worn down and visibly tired after restraining edo madara. madara regained all of his power with rinne tensei and took down a weakened hashirama. all that says is that a full power madara>weakened hashirama.

also, the manga has indeed established hashiramas superiority by flat out stating that hashirama is stronger and by having hashirama defeat madara.
