Skills Test: Battle Section


Welcome to the battle portion of the Skills Test, otherwise known as the Test of Might. In this section, you will engage in a short one-on-one battle against myself, the proctor, and are tasked with displaying your strength and skills. You have full access to all the fields and abilities of the bio you choose to use for this battle, including customs, as will the proctor. At the proctor's discretion, or the Head of Sensei's, the test will be closed and submitted for grading. The rules are as follows:​

As the man appears, Law would start by throwing a tagged kunai high into the sky while performing a single handed hand seal, opening up a barrier that would cover the sky from 2 meters in front of Law to long range behind Angel with it being just as wide. The barrier would lead to the release of multiple FTG tagged kunai upon the field, spreading them out immediately while also potentially damaging Angel should they make contact with him.

While Angel would likely be distracted by this, Law would capitalize and cause sticky mud to burst from the ground beneath and 6 meters around Angel's position, aiming to have the mud ensnare and then harden into a tombstone around Angel, inflciting damage in the process while also trapping him in his place.

Description: Minato throws a hiraishin kunai high in the air attached with a tag/scroll. Upon reaching high enough, minato performs the Dragon seal and opens a space-time barrier that cover the sky of the entire feild (or a designated portion of it). Heaven's Gate is a collaboration of 2 space-time techniques, Summoning technique and Space-time barrier. It uses the space-time barrier as means summon objects with a tag/scroll that was attached to the kunai as the source. It releases weapons that were sealed inside the tag/scroll such as ninja tools and space-time kunai that burst out of the barrier like missles raining down over the area with enough strength to break through rock.
Note: Usable 4 times per conflict.

(Doton: Shinku Bohi) - Earth Release: The Scarlet Tombstone

Description: The user will release their chakra into the ground, then by manipulating their chakra, they cause an abundance of adhesive sticky mud to burst up from the ground around and beneath the opponent(s). The mass of mud quickly forming into a tombstone-like shape while clinging to the target, then quickly hardens and encases the whole of the opponent in solid rock. The rock quickly continues to constrict around the opponent, growing tighter and tighter until it eventually crushes them with immense force. Multiple tombstones can be created to encase and destroy multiple enemies, or a single large tombstone can be created to destroy a group of enemies, or one large enemy. The Tombstone created can be no larger than Gamakichi and if multiple Tombstones are created, their total size combined cannot exceed that of Gamakichi.

Note: User is unable to use Water above S-rank in the same turn and the turn after.

Angel would stand across from his proctor for the test his stance would already be battle tilted as they both was unknown to eachother they wouldn't have an incline to eachother's abilities, starting the proctor would seem to be still but countless little dots of shadows on the ground below him glancing up Angel would see countless kunai descending above that would span a large span a least 1-3 meters across the sky. Angel would quickly gather his fuuton and then make the rat handseal this would then create air currents within the palm of his hand and releasing a massive gust of raging air currents that would rapidly spin and would knock all the kunai away with Angel being at the epicentre so the kunai being pelted away from him. Angel would grin as this is what he enjoyed the thrill of the fight he would undo his technique when all the kunai was dealt with.

Angel would see a large amount of sticky mud or it seemed water in substance to burst from the ground around him he would quickly react with his own counter this being ration to the earth would shred it. He would form a massive tornado around him which would rip the sticky substances apart before it would manage to wrap around Angel and solidify As this would protect him from Law attack and then it would form a dragon head this would form and then shoot ahead of Angel aimed to strike Law directly if he was to move from original position then the lighting would branch off attacking him leaving him no choice but to counter. "seems like your the non talkative type well allow me to force some sound out of your mouth..." Angel would quirk as the battle was about to hit the first stages and see who would control the flow of the battle.

Following this Angel would want to make sure that he kept his foe Law on his toes still dealing with the lighting dragon, Angel would quickly weave two handseals and then clap forming a fiery portal this would release a large torrent of snakes that would spread a wide range if Law attempted to dodge the snakes could be controlled through hand gestures Angel would weave and manipulate this to where would attempt to move to so avoiding it would be next to impossible. These snakes would have a impressive binding ability these would wrap around him and cause massive burns to Law causing him to move slower and be in great pain if left uncountered. Angel would feel he attack plan would have Law on the backfoot.

(Fūton: Kiryū Ranbu) - Wind Release: Air Current Wild Dance

Description: After making the Rat handseal, the user creates and controls air currents from the palms of their hands, forming a large field of raging air currents and gusting winds. The technique expands quickly, rapidly spanning through all of the battle field, gathering debris, dust and other small particles in its path. The technique effectively creates a very large controllable "dust" storm.

Note: Lasts 3 turns or until released.

(Raiton: Rairyu no Tatsumaki) - Lightning Release: Thunder Dragon Tornado

Description: The user forms a whirling vortex of electricity around themselves. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will grow to then shoot forward and cover the area in front of them. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.

(Katon: Moeru hebi no kiba) - Fire Release: Burning Snake Fang

Description: This unique fire technique can be performed in two ways, as a single stand alone technique which requires two handseals, dragon and tiger followed by the clapping of the hands. Using it in this form allows the user to manifest a fiery portal similar to the earth release mud drop. However instead of mud forming in this portal a large torrent of fire shaped as snakes will pour out surrounding a target or targets and wrapping around them. The fire while not sentient can be controlled by hand gestures making it very difficult to avoid. The snakes are solid in nature much like the dragon head fireballs making their binding ability quite impressive preventing an enemy wrapped in them from moving freely. The second method of using this technique functions as more of a boosting enhancement performed by clapping the hands. This method of use is performed as a follow up to another fire or wind technique and will cause the snakes to burst forth from the user merging with the preexisting technique adding to the overall power of the former technique by adding additional chakra to the technique and a degree of versatility to the technique by making it function in a solid way. Essentially the previous technique will experience a change in power and ability by becoming the flaming snakes. This usage is considered as an active boost and follows the rules and restrictions of such.

Note: May be used two times per battle overall.
Note: If combined with a wind technique in it's second form it will be considered a fire/wind combo. Combined with a fire technique just creates a stronger fire.
Note: No fire jutsu above A rank in the following turn.

Seeing the vortex of electricity, Law would perform two handseals with his left hand, causing a signifiant amount of magnesium to rise in the area around Angel, starting just outside of short range. The Mg would swiftly form into an empowered tornado, one that would act to intercept the lightning head with ease and would serve as a means of applying pressure to Angel in the same instance. Should the fire be used, it too would be thwarted by the Mg due to the technique's increased power and inherent strength against Lightning and Fire. The tornadoes strength would have been elevated through Dalmascan Refinery, specifically Stardust & Brokenshard which would also make the tornado reactive to ignition sources, such as the lightning attack. This would result in the Mg tornado being set ablaze, complicating things more for Angel.

Law would quietly observe the situation, hoping the man dies a swift death.

[Magnisuton: Behemoth's Doki] - Magnesium Dust Release: Behemoth's Wrath

Description: The user performs two handseals, causing an abundance of Magnesium dust to rise from the ground beneath and around the opponent(s). The Magnesium dust quickly forms into a raging tornado. Matter caught within the Tornado is ravaged and sliced by the miniscule particles of Magnesium that swirls within. Should the opponent not defend, they would be torn to pieces within a matter of moments. The size of the Tornado is capable of being up to a scale in which it would be capable of completely consuming large constructs such as Great Stone Golem.

(Magunisuton: Darumasukan Seiyusho) | Magnesium Release: Dalmascan Refinery

Description: Dalmascan Refinery is a technique that allows the user to apply a general alteration the size, shape and alignment of Magnesium grain particles to achieve a variety of different effects.

Stardust: This alteration will have the user produce tinier than normal magnesium particles. Despite this the size of the magnesium technique will be maintained as more magnesium particles will be produced to compensate for the smaller grain size. Smaller grain size will result in a larger surface area that will ultimately culminate in greater reactivity. Ultimately, when ignited the intensity at which magnesium burns will be greatly increased, granting it a +20 damage boost for this period of time, similarly magnesium can be funnelled into an ignition source, such as fire or lightning to grant the boost to the combo or desired technique.

Stardust II: This alteration follows the same principle of Stardust, the difference here however is that the produced particles are even tinier. The result is a dangerously high surface area which will result in magnesium techniques that are exposed to an ignition source not simply igniting, but rather exploding. This phenomenon is similar to the real life event of dust explosions.

Chrysthaneum: This alteration affects the alignment of magnesium particles. Normally particles would remain stagnant - that is they would follow the movement of the greater whole with little deviation. Under the influence of Chrysthaneum however produced magnesium particles will spiral and grind against each other, producing friction, heat, and sparks that will result in the self-ignition of magnesium techniques.

Jigsaw: This alteration also affects the alignment of magnesium particles, and juxtaposes the effects of Chrysthaneum. Normally magnesium particles are of non-uniform shapes and sizes, Jigsaw however will produce magnesium particles that perfectly align with one another. The result will be particles that can interlock for greater stability and strength, which will greatly increases the strength of compact magnesium techniques. Compact magnesium techniques will gain a +20 damage boost, or rank increase, under the effects of Jigsaw. Magnesium techniques under Jigsaw, due to the greatly reduced surface area, become far less reactive and can no longer ignite.

Brokenshard: This alteration affects the shape of magnesium particles. Normally magnesium particles will be random in shape, under the effects of Brokenshard however the shape of magnesium particles will be altered to emphasise piercing and slicing qualities. Produced magnesium particles will be needle or blade like in shape, resulting in magnesium techniques that are jagged and razor sharp, greatly increasing destructive power. Under the influence of Brokenshard Magnesium technique will gain a +20 damage boost, and non-offensive magnesium technique will gain offensive properties equal to their rank/defensive power.

Brightsteel: This alteration affects how magnesium particles are visually perceived. Normally magnesium will appear as a standard silvery metal. Under the effects of Brightsteel however each magnesium particle will be magnificently polished and its reflectivity will be further increased through the user of chakra. As a result Brightsteel magnesium will reflect light to such an extent that it will appear blindingly bright, similar to the Hidden Mist Eye Sight Deprivation, temporarily blinding the opponent for as long as they look at the technique directly.

Notes:
Logically not every particle is perfectly controlled and tailored, however enough is done to achieve a uniform and desired effect.
This technique can be used twice, last four turns each time and has a cooldown of two turns. On account of its nature, being that it has no independent uses, it can be activated instantly and in the same timeframe as another technique.
The user can apply up to two alterations at any one time, however Chrysthaneum is incompatible with Jigsaw. The user can also choose to not apply any alterations to a utilised magnesium technique.
When this technique ends, the user will be incapable of utilising B ranked or above magnesium techniques for two turns.

Angel would see the lighting dispelled and seen a metallic substance come forth, Angel would rely on his strongest affinity which was his typhoon this being his strongest element and not being able to decipher what his proctor justu was he decided it would be the best course of action. He would gather his typhoon and and form it into a two way function not one to be on the backfoot of battle, Angel would make 20 foot triceratops head with 4 massive horns two each side. this was for elegance and the horns lethality this would match the magnesium tornado as Angel would fuelling it constant to match and at the same expand to shoot at law and the tornado this would smash into it overpowering it whole and continuing at Law leaving with the typhoon to deal with the horns would be aimed if he would try to dodge either side being extremely quick. if the typhoon it self smashed into Law this would cause blunt force trauma from impact.

Angel would realise quickly his proctor would of been a strong foe and with him already busting out something Angel didnt know he would want to take control of the flow of battle quickly, logically not knowing the mans capability's Angel would follow up with what he thought he would counter his Typhoon with hopefully he hadnt come across any one with it yet and it caught him off guard, so he would use lighting thinking Law would counter his typhoon. Making the snake handseal Angel would emit lighting that would be shaped like a spear that would span a large width would quickly head to Law if he was to run or attempt to run the lighting would branch off piercing through his moving limbs and torso.

Angel would finish this attack up by gathering his charka a sphere of pure chakra in each hand, then by pushing chakra manipulation to its limits, Angel combins both spheres, creating a fearsome drill-like attack surrounding him. The drill itself is pure chakra being, manipulated and rotated at high speeds Angel would shoot this at Law keeping him on his toes if he couldnt counter his attacks.

(Taiton: Zora's no serenāde) - Typhoon Release: Zora's Serenade

Description: The technique that defines the mastery of Typhoon style. Zora developed the technique inspired by many other jack-of-all-trades techniques. The user can utilize their typhoon chakra to create tools, pillars, platforms, swords and any sort of structure with this technique and keep it going by constantly fueling it with typhoon chakra. Unless the user is a practitioner of Yin/Yang they lose the ability to use any other elemental techniques while doing so however. There are two levels of the technique, one of which is of a bit less in power and one that is stronger but requires more chakra.

Note: A-variation can be used 4 times, S-variation 2 times per battle.
Note: A-rank can last up to 3 turns, S rank can last up to 2 turns per initial use.
Note: The user becomes unable to perform elemental ninjutsu other than typhoon and wind if they chose to fuel their techniques to keep it going.
Note: Can only be taught by Skorm.

(Raiton: Gian) - Lightning Style: False Darkness

Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake handseal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

(Dyuaru Tama Doriru) - Dual Sphere Drill Link

Description: The user will form a sphere of pure chakra in each hand, then by pushing chakra manipulation to its limits, the user will combine both spheres, creating a fearsome drill-like attack surrounding the user. The drill itself is pure chakra being, manipulated and rotated at high speeds. The drill can be shot at the opponent or used as a shielding mechanism. However if used as a shield, the user will have his back exposed as the drill will only be protecting the top, front, and bottom.
Note: Can only be used twice per battle.
Note: Must have mastered Ninjutsu.

Seeing the triceratops charging in, Law would reach for his Dragon Fang whip with his left and begin spinning it rapidly while focusing chakra into it, creating a defensive dome. The triceratops would collide with the dome, but would be ineffective in penetrating it as the Dragon Fang whip would seal the attack. While the DF serves as a means of defending the attack, the dome itself would serve to counterattack in the same instance as it's sound would place Angel in an illusion. Inside the illusion Angel would see Law swing the whip and remain in the same spot after that. In reality, Law would move at an angle forwards towards Angel, approaching him rapidly from his left side to attack with the whip. Just as he enters the whip's distance at short range, Law would flick in an attempt to wrap the whip around Angel's neck in hopes of strangling the man. Should the whip be allowed to wrap Angel's neck, Law would pull at it in attempt to make the strangling faster and more uncomfortable. Naturally, as Angel would be fooled by the illusion, Law would be safe from the lightning attempt should it be used.


(Hoippu Geijutsu: Indiana no Hanketsu ) | Whip Arts: Indiana's Judgement
Type: Attack/Defensive

Description: This technique is the ultimate defence of a Whip Art Master. The user will spin his whip,while focusing chakra in it, rapidly around his body, creating an impenetrable dome around him. While moving creating the dome, the sound will trigger a genjutsu upon the opponent. The genjutsu itself if simple, instead of seeing the user moving around his whip constantly, the opponent will only see the whip being moved around once before the user seemed to rest the whip again by his side, while standing in the same position. In reality, the user will continue the move the whip around while moving forwards, and as the user comes within hitting distance from the opponent, he will flick the whip forwards and catch the opponent around the neck, effectively strangling or killing them, depending on the kind of whip the user carries.

Dragon Fang;
Dragon Fang is a Dragon Blade that can take any other held weapon form and can boost an element it is applied to by +25 and can seal any Jutsu up to S rank without chakra cost by the user as long as the technique uses less than 60 chakra. Does not count as a Custom Weapon.

(sorry been hella busy with work)

Angel would see Law swing his whip to defend him from his last attack, Angel would gather up his typhoon and release it as a surge across his body making his body become that of the typhoon this would make him weight pretty much nothing making him alot faster he would do this to close the gap between him and Law. Unknowing that he was in a genjustu he would break it with the surge and head towards his position fast as he tried to arc to Angel. 'genjustu he used he is a very strong proctor i had no incline until he just appeared there...' Angel would think to himself. Leaving trails of bodies behind where he was previous and being naked to the normal eye he would past Law in a blaze being 5 meters behind him now and undoing his technique so he could use ninjustu once again.

As Angel materialised he would attack Law using the momentum he had to his advantage hoping he would still be dazed by what was happening, he would weave 3 quick handseals gathering his typhoon and creating an entity that would be the size of a stone golem in next to Angel; This would hulk over Law at such short range and Angel would throw a single shuriken at Law from short range while the entity would coat it giving it the same properties as him making the shuriken extra potent. To finish this move off as the shuriken quickly closed the little gap between Angel and Law he would weave a string of handseals, he would shadow clone the shuriken into many making 20-30 shuriken all coated with the entity's properties to obliterate Law from all directions. As the shuriken past and crossed the ground this would slice and smash the earth to pieces all around law sending debris every.

(Taiton: In'ei) Typhoon Style: Shadestep
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive

Description: The user will gather up typhoon chakra throughout their entire body and take the shape of their release. Their body will become dark wind and thus making the user invulnerable towards physical attacks and lightning whilst neutral to B-rank wind/fire. When the user move they will leave a trace of dark wind that takes the shape of the user, creating a trail of the users chakra shaped as a series of bodies to appear as they run. This will confuse the opponent
and make them wonder where user is. At this state however, the user cannot perform ninjutsu until they solidify, but due to the fact the user becomes relatively weight-less they become fast(1.5x faster). As wind, the user will be able to refract light, making them invisible to the naked eye.

(Taiton: Supirittoabatā) Typhoon Style: Spirit Avatar
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary

Description: Spirit Avatar is a technique that is influenced on the black wind clone technique but instead of summoning clones, an avatar of typhoon release is summoned on the field. The user performs a sequence of three handseals and creates the entity. The spirit may vary in size stretching down to the size of a stone golem. Being made by the typhoon release itself, the spirit avatar can tank anything that S rank typhoon release can tank. Albeit being very similar to the black wind clones, the avatar spirit has a very unique feature except its size variation and strength and that is that it can inhabit the user by merging with their body or that of a summoning they control. This will coat the affected body with the chakra the avatar spirit is made by and while at the same time giving the affected body the same resistance as the spirit avatar, also being controlled by the user of the technique. In combat, the avatar spirit may perform all wind/typhoon techniques based on wind and even custom fighting styles based on wind that the user knows up to A-rank. The spirit avatar may also coat material matter as well, such as swords and other objects will which give the said object the strengths of the spirit avatar (S-ranked typhoon chakra).

(Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu

Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After throwing one shuriken or more against their target, the user creates up to a thousand shadow clones of the shuriken (or kunai, senbon, etc, basically any basic weapon) after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger which multiply the damage as its striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.

Looking around to relocate the man as he seemingly disappeared, Law would find Angel quickly enough, with a hulking avatar to boot. Unbothered, he would reverse summon himself and Angel to the belly of a toad. Inside, the toad would start to restrict on Angel's feet to prevent movement while Law himself would charge in at quick speeds with a big rasengan in his left hand in attempts to slam it into Angel. Naturally due to Law's skills with the technique it would be stronger.

(Kuchiyose: Assai Gama Ibukuru) – Summoning: Crushing Toad Stomach

Description: This technique bears resemblance to the Summoning: Toad mouth bind technique. However instead of warping the battlefield into the digestive tracks of a giant toad, the user reverse summons themselves and their opponents into the stomach of a giant toad and captures and isolates the target/s inside the stomach, cutting them off from allies and immobilizing their movements while the stomache starts crushing the opponent/s to death.

Description: A simple yet effective Ninjutsu technique, Minato will dash in a burst of raw speed and jump, run or dodge an incoming attack. This is done by taking advantage of his enhanced reactions and his fast intellect when perceiving an attack and combining it with a burst of pure movement speed. Of course this can only be used on a battle ground that enables it and never mid air. It has some limitations though as Minato himself doesn't have a high movement speed but its still enough to mimic what can be described as an "instant" movement. Because of this, if the user wants to dodge or evade attacks from faster bios such as Raikage bios or EIG users, he needs the use of his space time techniques. The technique also has some limits in the movement it can produce, which are overall linear, lacking the ability to produce intricate and complicated movement patterns. Doujutsu users (at least 2T for Sharingan), Sensors or EIG users/masters as well as users with high reaction/reflexes or senses will still be able to track the user although, in some cases, become unable to react.Note: Only useable by Tobirama Senju and Minato Namikaze bios.
