Senpou: one definition is shining and another is lively.

Hashirama has solar sage mode. I made a theory based on his facial markings that show the symbolism between them and the ancient symbols for the sun. You can view it here:

Considering senju's have the juubi yang and yang represents sun and life its very likely that hashirama, who has Mokuton( trees need sunlight to live ), has solar sage mode.

Please read the thread in my sig, hashi is 99% slug sage. The only thing that's missing is confirmation from the manga itself.

Btw its proven that yang release is what strengthens mokuton, younger son possess the body of the sage which is yang release, it has nothing to do with the sun .

Advertising? Not allowed. As for your theory, it is not saying much because no evidence proves your theory true. Nothing is known of his Sage Mode. It is not fully explaining how he is able to enter Sage Mode and, control and maintain it.

That is a pretty sound theory. To disprove its slug sage mode however, we need someone to pour salt on him and if he doesn't die, hes not a slug!
