Sasuke's Facial Expressions?

Sasuke has always been hard to read in terms of emotion lately.

Is it just me... or did he look kind of sad when Madara died this chapter:

What do you think he is thinking? Do you think he is sad about being the last living Uchiha? Not getting to kill Madara? Or something else?

Yes he did seem sad but Sasuke never really want to express his feelings and so if he does do it eventually, it's only via some very small facial expressions.

Why would he not be sad? Madara was his ancestor, but even as powerful as he was, he was manipulated into causing a lot of strife for his own clan and eventually the rest of the shinobi world.

Possibly because he just saw what he could have been if he didn't switch sides. Also, I doubt he'd throw a party over being the last Uchiha.

he just read the whole war arc.......that or knows the manga is coming to an end and knows he'll no longer exist

Well it is the final interaction between two people who were once best friends. It is a pretty emotionally heavy moment. I agree though, Sasuke has been hard to read and we still don't know where his priorities lie and what his intentions are. Maybe he sees parts of himself and Naruto?

he knows hashi and mads were bffs, so seeing them together under these circumsatnces is sad and a warning for naruto and sasuke. madara couldnt accomplish his dreams.

reminds me of when itachi told naruto not to do things alone or hed end up like tobi.
