i agree with you on almost everything... Firstly Susano'o can't be countered by iron sand and can't be disbanded by iron sand... unles it has chakra absorbing properties...#RollingEyes. and secondly... Sasori can't beat Itachi

Ima have to say sasori. I juz don't see itachi beating iron sand nor being able to Dodge all the hidden weapons! Itachi is good but I don't think he could Dodge 3-4 hidden attacks at once.
Sasori wins if neither has info on the other.

As an edo, he doesn't suffer from the side-effects of Mangekyou.

As a human, he wouldn't use it as much.

I believe he would still suffer from the side effects of extended mangekyo simply because he still went blind in his eye after having used the Izanami to trap kabuto.

If neither of them have knowledge on eachother, Sasori takes this.

All forms of genjutsu are useless considering Sasori has no brain. Amaterasu can be countered via heart ejection/body swap. He can quickly overwhelm Itachi with a multitude of techniques, all capable of poisoning him. And then, of course, you have Sandaime Kazekage's Iron sand. Sasori will be intelligent enough to keep his distance from Itachi, especially if Susanoo is pulled out. I also doubt Itachi could win a battle of attrition, considering his health issues.

With knowledge, Itachi successfully outlasts Hiruko and snipes Sasori's heart with Amaterasu.

unless it is specifically said that he is unaffected by genjutsu in the manga i wouldn't be so sure. having a brain is of no count considering that genjutsu is the controlling of another's chakra flow....and other than that even if he doesn't have a brain he does still have a mind to be affected seeing as he isn't thoughtless.

✩ VS Threads ✩​

As requested by many, a section specifically for VS threads has been made, so post them here and not anymore in the Manga section, Naruto Discussion section or any other NB section as those threads have popped up all around NB.​

Rules:

• Follow the Global Rules, so no spamming/flaming etc.
• Only post VS threads about Naruto characters/attacks/clans etc., do not post threads like Grimmjow vs Goku. This is after all a Naruto section.
• Do not post VS threads between Naruto characters and non-Naruto characters like Naruto vs Ichigo. You can't compare them with each other like that, they're from two different manga's and it nearly always results in spam and flame threads.
• The threads still need to maintain a certain lvl of seriousness, seriously no Tenten vs Tonton threads anymore -.-
• Use the search button to find whether the fight you want to discuss already exists or not. In the case it does exist check when the last post was made as a thread that hasn't been active for a month is considered dead and it's against the rules to revive old threads. In that case you can make the thread again.
