Sasori or Itachi

The problem is Amaterasu needs a clear path of sight, and Itachi needs to use it, he won't have the time to use it while he is dealing with 100 puppets..

But before that what will Itachi do about Iron Sand? He absolutely has no counter for it.

Before Iron sand how will he get Sasori out of Hiruko? Amaterasu? Well that's one use closer to being drop dead tired, he will also have to use Susanoo to defend efficiently.

Susanoo on top of one Amaterasu will definitely make him tired especially after trying to defeat Hiruko, and then he will have to deal with Iron Sand, which will effectively block any path for Amaterasu.

Also after one use of Amaterasu Sasori would have an idea of how it works.

Everyones counter is Itachi doesnt have stamina to use amaterasu that much, yada yada yada. Truth is, he made Amaterasu chase after his brother. Amaterasu basically spontaneously appeared numerous times while he was trying to "catch" him. One Amaterasu is not going to tire him out that quickly as you guys continously say so Im going to need you to come up with something else for that one.

If Sakura can dodge iron sand, im pretty sure Itachi can, iron sand is really not that big of a deal as you make it out to be. And before you can say iron sand can pull him out of susanoo stop it, gaara needed Oonoki's lighter weight technique just so it can be fast enough to get to madara IN THE DESERT.

The 100 puppet ordeal if Itachi has up just the rib cage (it did save him from Kirin), i dont see the puppets which are by the way just QUANTITY cant do a thing really. I mean none of them showed anything special except for the fact that they are all laced with posion, so what can they do?

And what exactly is obscuring Itachi's vision by the way? I mean one Amaterasu takes care of the puppet using iron sand, and now Sasori is forced to use his 100 puppet jutsu right, with all the chakra strings coming from his chest right? The strings are so close together at the beginning point right? One shot at the said point can burn those strings right? Sasori has to cut them loose so his main body isnt destroyed right?

Fact is your only whim to hold on to stamina this, stamina that. im honestly tired of it. Sasori is under rated for sure but like I said before I dont see him evading Amaterasu. This is a battle, not a sparring match, hes going to do everything to survive.

Edit: And how exactly is Sasori knowing how Amaterasu works going to do anything?

OT: I agree. Sasori is extremely underrated. If they're not a very good medical ninja or if Sasori spares them, there's a very, very high chance Sasori will kill them. One scratch from one of Sasori's 298 puppets and it's game over. +rep

People think Sasori has imediatly every tools at his disposition and forget that it's not easy for him to use all these tools.it takes time since he always start in hiruko ( not edot sasori who is human) , then he has to go out from the hiruko and take his scrolls to summon puppets.futrthermroe he never showed the abilities to control hiruko + iron sand and the hundreds of puppets all in same time.He can only use these 2 technique separatly unless if somoene show me a manga page where Sasori control everything in same time but don't bother it doesn't exist in manga .

Sasori has a mind and a chakra system so he isn't imune to genjutsu.

i would have to agree that this is going to be a tough one but i will have to go with itachi on this one.
Yes sasori is a puppy and genjustu wouldnt work, but itachi has more speed than sasori not to mention itachi has justus in which he can produce fire he also has the MS which would be a challenge on sasori also sasuori has a little target for a heart which is visible.
This doesnt mean that i dont like sasori or anything but im gonna have go with itachi because hes faster and not to mention amaterasu. Also who nos they never mention that genjustu wouldnt work on sasori so like i said this would be a good match but also hard to judge

Sasori is extremely underrated because he lost to Sakura. I think Sasori takes this because Iron sand can go under Susano'o and all Sasori must do is scratch him. Besides that Itachi has low stamina and Genjutsu is not working on Sasori, i wonder how will Itachi use amaterasu when he is being cornered by 100 puppets and iron sand?

Amatersu can't be used that much but fire can spread and sasori's puppets are wooden. Poison needles can be countered with susanoo.
Sasori shouldn't be underestimated though...

At first i thought itachi would have to go through all of sasori's arsenal, but due to my ignorance i forgot one of the abilities of the sharingan.

As itachi said he can see chakra everywhere. even behind the rock pillars the sharingan grants the user the ability to see chakra. Sasori's heart is where his chakra comes from. The sharingan will see right through the puppet form and see his heart, where his chakra comes from. Its not hard to imagine that itachi will figure out that he has to take out the heart and ones that has been realised it wouldnt take long before sasori becomes history. If however itachi was to have trouble trying to get to his heart and the match was to prolong then sasori should win. Due to itachi's abilities and fighting style where he likes to end his fights as fast as possible but also this fight wil be straight forward because he will know the aim and what he has to do to end this fight, id give him the advantage
