@ 1st Bold - No, that's called LaVeyan Satanism.
"We Satanists are thus our own “Gods,” and as beneficent “deities” we can offer love to those who deserve it and deliver our wrath (within reasonable limits) upon those who seek to cause us—or that which we cherish—harm." (

@ 2nd Bold - So when you put something before everything else, you automatically turn it into a diety? What is the definition of a diety?
"1. A god or goddess.
A. The essential nature or condition of being a god; divinity." (

So a diety is a God. Now, what is a God? Well, to cover old religions we'll have to widen the definition a bit, but it's still pretty straighforward.
"A being or object believed to have more than natural attributes and powers and to require human worship; specifically: one controlling a particular aspect or part of reality." (

As an Atheist you do not believe in Gods, therefore your claim is inherently illogical and false.
Really, substitute 'humanity' for 'dog', or '***', or any other word and you'll see why that claim is as absurd as can be. But just to adress your claim that 'any form of worship turns something into a deity', I'd just like to point out that, as we've established, a diety/God has supernatural powers. Even if we accept the claim that Atheists worship humanity, then they wouldn't be worshipping a diety, since humans have no supernatural powers.
You can claim, if you wish, that some humans display extraordinary powers, but you're talking about humanity as a whole, not a few individuals.
Just to be clear, however; there's no worship involved with being an Atheist.
@ 3rd Bold - 'On The Origin of Species' was published in 1859. It does indeed present the basics of evolution, but Darwin ascribes it as a work of God. Darwin was actually a Theist until he, late in his life, came to describe himself as Agnostic. He considered it "absurd to doubt that a man might be an ardent theist and an evolutionist." (

Darwin was never an Atheist.
And please don't talk about rascism. We're talking about the 19th century. It was another time, with other available tools and means. The same can be said about the time when the Bible was written. After all; it preaches rape, slavery, murder, discrimination and holy war. (

@ 4th Bold - So places where lives are saved and children are educated are, per definition, Atheist 'churches'? Really?
Listen: "Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities." (

) Most Atheists won't even tell you that your Gods do not exists. As an Atheist, you simply hold no belief in the aforementioned God(s). It's the position of 'I do not believe', not the position of 'there is no God'. Many reach the second conclusion, but that's not the definition of Atheism.
