Religious peoples disrespect.

I know when to say GD and when not to. When around religious people, they (and by they, I mean they as in the people I know) seriously believe that's the worst possible thing you could say, ever worse than threatening and describing how you'll kill someone or something. It's a very touchy set of words.

But yeah, I've ever had an exact moment like yours, but I'll use it eventually XD Certainly interesting. I've never really thought about how religious people view other religions.

So I was at Subway for lunch, and this girl that I went to school with corrected me when I said "God Damnit" and told me not to use God's name in vein. So I then asked if I said Allah Damnit, and she said that would be fine. So I continued to tell her why that wouldn't be acceptable either and she said well Allah isn't real.

Such disrespect to other peoples religion and beliefs, in my opinion God is the same person, people just call him different names. Anyway, I found this disrespectful, anyone else have encounters with people like that?​

Brah... Allah, God and Yahweh are the same. Islam, Christianity and Judaism are all what we call 'Abrahamic Religions', which means that they worship the same God, just in radically different ways.

Atheism is, per definition, not a religion.
'Theism' means belief. 'A'theism is 'no belief'. If I am an Atheist I hold no belief in a deity, therefore I can't be religious.

Atheism is humanism, the worship of one self essentially, or at least the worship of the human race. It seeks to put humanity first before all else, which automatically makes it a deity (any form of worship turns something into a deity). They even have their own Bible...I think it's called "The Origin of Species"...very racist book too, it's all about eliminating the "lesser" races (mainly blacks because Darwin thought they were still primal apes) and promoting the master race (the white race since that's what Darwin viewed as being superior since he belonged to it).

You can visit athiest churches at any time ("science" clinics, institutions, all sorts of places for them to worship), atheism even has its own inquisition, if you denounce the church rule about mankind being the Creator, then they won't let you have a degree and pursue certain fields. Also, if you so much as mention to an atheist anything about another deity, they get on the defensive and must protect their religion.

No actual encounter that I'm aware of as I never really inquired into what people thought about this, so idk.

But,
You see them all around on television and wherever, no big thing really.

Anyway, I'm not sure about God being the same person or whatever, but you can see with your own eyes how much people value these Gods of theirs, more than enough reason to tread carefully, whether you have one yourself or not.

I have seen this happen myself and it makes me laugh. Thats like me saying God is real then switching to French and saying God is not real. As for me god is Allah. If im having a conversation with a English person and they say Allah I always say that god is Allah just different beliefs about him. How old was this girl??

What makes anyone believe here that Atheism isn't a school of thought, just like Religion? Every counter that is used to refute religion become a part of its ethos, or underlying base logic. Any abstraction you rivet your attention on is automatically deified, in this case, as someone above me pointed out, humans. Personally speaking, Religious and atheistic doctrines are equally useless, as both limit your perceptions to a said school of thought, without taking different metaphysical and philosophical factors into consideration. Both of these schools of thoughts in retrospection are limiting. Therefore, i laugh at anyone who believes that Religion is not an answer, but atheism is.

Coming back to the topic at hand. It has a lot to do with general media hate directed at Muslims which makes people ignorant or it could just be the general ignorance brought about by religion. Now, I don't believe in Religion myself, but I don't side with atheists either. Regardless of what anyone believes, they should be considerate about another's beliefs. People have lost these etiquettes with the advent of modernism.

So a diety is a God. Now, what is a God? Well, to cover old religions we'll have to widen the definition a bit, but it's still pretty straighforward.

As an Atheist you do not believe in Gods, therefore your claim is inherently illogical and false.
Really, substitute 'humanity' for 'dog', or '***', or any other word and you'll see why that claim is as absurd as can be. But just to adress your claim that 'any form of worship turns something into a deity', I'd just like to point out that, as we've established, a diety/God has supernatural powers. Even if we accept the claim that Atheists worship humanity, then they wouldn't be worshipping a diety, since humans have no supernatural powers.
You can claim, if you wish, that some humans display extraordinary powers, but you're talking about humanity as a whole, not a few individuals.
Just to be clear, however; there's no worship involved with being an Atheist.

The problem with arguing about G-d is that His is existence is not falsifiable, meaning that it is impossible to prove he doesn't exist, not because of a lack of evidence, because His existence can't be measured or proven with empirical evidence in the first place. Just as His existence cannot be proven, so too it cannot be disproved. Also, in an argument in which religion is right, there can be no possible eay to prove either side with measurable evidence. In medieval Rabbi Moses Nachmanides had an argument with Pablo Chirstiani about Judaism and Christianity. Both sides claimed they won, but in truth, neither could actually definitively prove either side because their arguments weren't based on measurable evidence.

Deity is nothing but an abstraction, hence all your points are declared null and void on this notion alone. Deifying an abstraction and the encapsulating ethos created by the dogmas creates a school of thought, that is religion. At its pith, Religion is nothing but a belief for amalgamating people from different sociocultural and ethnic background, and that's exactly what atheism does as well. It shuns religion, hence that alone makes it a belief on the concept of negation.
