Tomura vs Kitsune
Type:
Solo
Location: Venice Dam
Terrain: Venice Streets surrounded by Buildings and River (8 Turns before Venice Floods)
Range: 5 meters
Time Limit: 2 Days
Kitsune was sprinting at his maximum speed. If the dam gave away, then civilians were going to drown from the massive release of water. The Glacial Hero felt it his duty to either stop the water from consuming Venice or die trying. Possessing the ability to freeze water at alarming rates, the provisional hero thought his abilities were vital to the impending crisis.

On the way there, an individual caught the attention of Kitsune. He was wearing a costume, one decorated with what appeared to be hands. If that wasn’t the ugliest fashion statement, yet the symbolism in them gripped the hero’s interest. Art was birthed and meant to be showcased in all sorts of ways. Perhaps those hands represented the weight of his peers, grasping at his depression to only pull him down?

Quickly shaking that mind set, Kitsune needed to remain focus in the matter. Being a curator of art, sometimes it would abruptly snatch the hero’s attention. The provisional hero thought it was important to warn the stranger, considering he walked with an unusual air about him. Did not hear the current commotion ravaging through the environment. [ Speaks Five [5] Meters Away ]

“Sir, are you a hero? I am afraid your…décor is not something I recognize. If now, please evacuate the premise with haste. The dam is currently at risk of malfunction, people allow me to protect you and Venice.”

Quirk Name: Decay
Quirk Type: Emitter
Quirk SubClass: Touch
Quirk Bonus: Grants the "Absolute" Keyword to the Decay Process. Posting this Parent Technique counts as the Quirk being active, this Quirk does not possess Style Techniques. Grants the "Free Use" Keyword to Decay, which allows Battle Cards to be Spent without Style Techniques Attached. Posting this Parent Technique counts as the Quirk being active, this Quirk does not posses Style Techniques.
Description: This grants the character the ability to reduce any susceptible targets they touch to nothingness. The only requirement to activating the Quirk is touching solid targets [ these targets must be whole in structure and not grainy | loose ] with all five of their fingers. Whether the target is sentient or not, the power will work without fail should that requirement be satisfied. The speed of the reduction varies based on the size of the target, nonetheless if contact is maintained long enough – the target will crumble into nothing.

Quirk Breakdown & Drawbacks:

~ At Basic Control, the destruction process differs due to the various dimensions a target can consist of. Targets with a dimension that is more than Four [4] Meters in diameter will require Two [2] Turns of constant contact ( Any Target Lower is Decayed Instantly ). Any dimension that is more than Six [6] Meters in diameter will require Three [3] Turns of constant contact. Any dimension that is more than Eight [8] Meters Meters in diameter will require Four [4] Turns of constant contact. Any dimension above Eight [8] Meters Meters in diameter will require Five [5] Turns of constant contact.

~ When activating Decay to destroy susceptible targets, it requires One [1] Attack Card is Spent. When activating Decay to neutralize disadvantaging situations, it requires One [1] Support Card is Spent. When activating Decay to defend against oncoming danger, it will require One [1] Block Card is Spent. The effects of the Decay Quirk are centered on primary targets, therefore will not extend to secondary targets. For instance, should one choose to decay the ground then that doesn’t render those standing above it decayed as well.

Costume Name: Liberation

  • Grants 20% Morale Point Multiplier
  • Whenever Liberation is Worn, the Lunatic Persona is Replaced by the Cunning Persona

They have no other unction than help Tomura’s mental state, who confesses that these hands make him feel calm and at peace, although also cause nausea. The most important hand, which often is the one covering Tomura’s face, is the left hand belonging to his father. Referred to as father, this one is connected to another hand referred as mother which is placed on his neck. For the rest of the outfit, Tomura wears regular black clothes ( bar the jacket ), red tennis shoes, and a hooded leather coat

"Hero? To some perhaps. I don't tend to use that word loosely. However, I heard the sirens and figured I'd see what was going on. The dam is malfunctioning you say? Well I better let you do your job and save us. See you around, Protector of Venice."

Tomura said this as he continued to walk forwards towards the fox masked protector. Taking advantage of the fact that the innocent hero had not known who Tomura was allowed Tomura to move with his hands in his pockets hoping the opponent couldn't sense the bloodlust wafting from Tomura. Like two concealed weapons as he closed the distance between the two. As Tomura walked past Kitsune, Tomura passed on the hero's right side and withdrew his left hand in order to place it on the shoulder of his newfound savior.

Tomura intended to Decay Kitsune without much of a stuggle as soon as he closed the 5 meter distance.

As the stranger began to speak, his voice struck a nerve in the provisional hero. This wretched voice, it resembled the fiend responsible for causing the mayhem about a month ago. The Hero Association never declared locating and subduing he villain responsible for the Silicon Break or enticing the public into chaos. The Glacial Hero made a personal vow should he ever come across the individual responsible for uprooting the safety of California, justice would be dealt swiftly. Regardless of his feelings, Kitsune refrained from reaching a conclusion on how to behave. The individual was covered with strange hands, one even hiding his face.

As the stranger spoke, he proceeded to walk closer which only caused the provisional hero to grip Sode No Shirayuki by the hilt. A subtle action, the hero did not want to alarm the potential villain too much. When the stranger shortened the distance to three meters, Kitsune spoke once more.

“Protector of Venice…you have it wrong Mr. Shigaraki Tomura. I have vowed to protect those in need. My jurisdiction is not bound to Venice.”

Kitsune called the man by the name of the villain that made the declaration of war against the Hero Association. The face made during that casting wreaked of evil. The eyes of Tomura were filled with nothing but desire for destruction. The mere act of calling for war shown that the villain wanted to decay the foundations that promoted stability. As a warrior of justice, Kitsune took an oath to maintain that stability. To maintain order. Kitsune flash froze Sode no Shirayuki while beginning to unsheathe his comrade ( this occurring after Kitsune mentioned the name ).

Recap:
→ Attempting to Interrupt Once the Timeframe Begins with Opponent Walking.
→ Spent One [1] Support Card to Flash Freeze Sode no Shirayuki.

Quirk Name: Freeze Tag
Quirk Type: Emitter
Quirk SubClass: Touch
Quirk Bonus: Posting this Parent Technique counts as the Quirk being active, this Quirk does not possess Style Techniques. Grants the Status Effects Belonging to Freezing | Frostbitten | Frostbite | Frost the ”Cryo-Stasis” Keyword. Grants the "Superior Interaction" Keyword Against Water Related Targets.
Description: The manifestation of this ability allows the character to siphon the heat of targets, critically reducing the temperature to induce the concept known as Flash Freezing. Siphoning the heat of targets requires the character to make physical contact via their hands only. Based on how much temperature the character lowers will determine the potency of the freeze. This causes susceptible targets to instantly freeze from within or encased in ice, down to the very molecule. Even the character themselves must be careful of interacting with sources that has been flash frozen.

Quirk Breakdown:

~ Flash Freezing the phenomenon is induced by the rapid reduction of heat, which results vary due to the different types of targets that retain heat signatures. The different types of targets mentioned is referencing the three primary states of matter. Whenever the character aims to freeze, they must establish contact ( via their hands ) with susceptible targets and then siphon the heat from within them. Because Freeze Tag requires a touch-based condition to be satisfied, the character lacks the ability to influence targets that are not liquid or solid in nature – but more importantly they must be able to hold a heat signature.

Liquid Type Targets: Whenever the character establish contact with susceptible liquid based sources, they can siphon the heat to intiate Flash Freezing. This results in the liquid instantly reaching the freezing point and then erratically freezing in regards to pattern design.

Solid Type Targets: Whenever the character establish contact with susceptible solid based sources, they can siphon the heat to initiate Flash Freezing. This results in the solid reaching the freezing point and then being encased in ice, mimicking the target's outline.

Solid | Liquid Type Targets: Whenever the character establish contact with susceptible targets that are liquid and solid in nature, they can siphon the heat to intiate Flash Freezing. This results in the targets reaching the freezing point and then being frozen on the interior and then encased on the exterior, mimicking the outline.

~ Flash Freezing the phenomenon is extremely detrimental to animate targets that requires heat in some capacity to function. For animate targets, these tend to be sentient lives with physical bodies that require heat to fuel the very fundamental basics of cellular activity. In the circumstances that these targets are sentient which tend to be a mixture of solid and liquid, Freeze Tag Related Style Techniques and Free-Form Actions are granted the ”Cryo-Stasis” Keyword. This refers to the freezing potency being high enough to trigger the Status Effects that belong to Mentions of Freezing | Frostbite | Frost.

~ The effects are centered around primary targets but the freezing capabilities can extend to secondary targets. When liquids or solids are flash frozen the tremendous drop in temperature is enough to begin freezing other independent variables that possess heat signatures. Albeit as much slower rate, the surrounding area ( two [2] meters in diameter surrounding the primary effected zone ) is subjected to low temperatures ( even gaseous like substances ) that will induce the Status Effects associated with mentions of Frostbite | Frost. If the independent targets remain within this area of low temperature, they will freeze without the touch condition but double the time duration ( One Turn for Instant Times ).

The Flash Freezing Process Differs Due to the Various Dimensions and Requires Constant Contact.
Dimensions Less than Three [3] Meters in Diameter Requires One [1] Support Card and the Freezing is Instant.
Dimensions Less than Four-Five [4-5] Meters in Diameter Requires One [1] Support Card and the Freezing Requires One [1] Turn.
Dimensions Less than Six-Seven [6-7] Meters in Diameter Requires Two [2] Support Card and the Freezing Requires Two [2] Turns.
Dimensions Less than Eight+ [8+] Meters in Diameter Requires Three [3] Support Card and the Freezing Requires Three [3] Turns.

A bad nerve had been struck as if a bolt of lightning had hit a tree upon Tomura hearing his name. Tomura's red-eyed glare could have burned a hole straight through Kitsune with his unfiltered rage. The raw unchecked emotions bubbling inside caused Tomura to grow nauseous as Kitsune spouted on with his heroic nonsense. Utterly revolted in the way the hero spoke, Tomura didn't want to waste any more time listening to a dead man's eulogy he ran full speed at Kitsune. Tomura didn't hesitate despite seeing Kitsune take out a small vial of water and crush it over his sword as he said its name, encasing the blade in a layer of ice. Tomura now aware the opponent had the ability to freeze water, it was no wonder he was one of the first to respond. If he didn't take this guy out here and now, it could potentially cause a major wrench in his plans. Had he let Kitsune have free reign to utilize his quirk Tomura's vision came crashing down as he envisioned the scenario in his head. There was no telling the extent of Kitsune's power but if he was able to freeze enough water to prevent Tomura from flooding Venice, then it'd be game over for Tomura.

Three meters away from Kitsune, Tomura runs full speed ensuring he minimized any wasted movement to make Decaying Kitsune as effortless as possible. With his left hand, Tomura aimed to deliver a well placed palm strike directly to Kitsune's sternum. This would force the opponent backward although this would also render him to dust as he'd dissolve down to the molecule and be carried away by the winds.

Too easy, nowhere in Apirori’s post does he mention that he utilized his vial, you were adding a lot of information in regards to actions he in fact did not perform. Therefore everything from that mention of utilizing his vials downwards is officially voided. Battle continues with Apirori’s post.

continue...

As Kitsune was withdrawing Sode no Shirayuki, Tomura entire body language shifted from earlier. If the hero was correct in identifying the villain, it resulted in Tomura dropping his act and sprinting towards the hero. Kitsune remembered the mayhem caused by this villain’s actions. He remembered the pain that California felt due to his actions. The little peers of his, referring to the first years of Horizon University, suffered major injury because of Tomura. One of them was still missing due to his actions. All of that enraged Kitsune. Why did villains lack so much regard for others?

Kitsune, as he already began unsheathing Sode no Shirayuki, gripped the katana tighter and slashed at the approaching villain while stepping backwards. The stepping backwards would provide some more distance, although very small in gain – the body would reposition to have the torso slanted in view against the villain ( the right shoulder is now behind the left shoulder due to body positioning ). The angle of the slash was designed to intercept the villain diagonally from his lower left abdomen across to his right. Kitsune would Flash Freeze the katana once more, as soon as Tomura began to sprint. Since the katana can harness the power of this freeze, it would extend and freeze Tomura solid.

Recap:
→ Spending One [1] Support to Flash Freeze the Opponent via Sode no Shirayuki as an Extension.
→ Kitsune stepped backwards while attacking, this proving 0.5 Meter distance traveled.
→ The Extension of the Swing totals at 1.8 Meters. This includes arm and katana length combined.

This results in the targets reaching the freezing point and then being frozen on the interior and then encased on the exterior, mimicking the outline.

BATTLE CHECK

As Geezus failed to make a Battle Check post to correspond with his quote, Time Limit has been passed.
Apriori had already called for the Time Limit passing once Geezus posted in the battle check. Because Time Limit passed and Apriori's move had not been called into question with a proper check, his attempt to freeze Geezus would have succeeded.

However, had this been quoted checked successfully, it would be ruled that Apriori acted appropriately. In his move he states that he is using his sword slash to activate the flash freezing effects that occur upon contact with his sword. As stated, this act requires the use of a support card, which Apriori stated was used.

Geezus is Flash Frozen, it is now Apriori's turn, continue.

Tomura continued to wrong, perhaps due to blind confidence of his abilities. Whatever the reason may be, it caused the villain to disregard Sode no Shirayuki and that resulted in the villain being completely frozen solid. As the body became immobilized, it only slid a few inches due to the external being encased in a layer of ice. Another villain had fallen prey to the horrible greed of Kitsune’s powers, something the hero was not fond of to be honest. The hero detested using such power due to the dangers of it murdering someone.

Something about Tomura screamed so much vile intent, it reminded him of Eustass Kid. Both individuals hell-bent on destroying the fabrics of this current world. Perhaps that sentiment of chaos was the reason why Kitsune was willing to borrow such heinous ability. If this were to continue, the hero was not sure how to progress in his career. Regardless of the situation, Kitsune would call the Artisan Agency and inform them of Tomura’s location. The Glacial Hero could not stay for long considering the dam was still compromised.

Evacuating the civilians and attending to the crisis was the top priority, especially now that Tomura was handled.
