Battle Rubric

Name: Kagami (@RestlessWretch ) vs Name: Kyoshi (@JojocIaw )
Type: Solo
Location: Hollywood Boulevard
Terrain: Busy, crowded street
Range: 10 Meters
Time Limit: 2 Days

"Ma'am, public quirk usage is illegal without a license. Disperse your clones and leave this area before I have to arrest you."

Kagami smiled internally, before placing a hand on her chest as if she had been frightened, "A-Arrest me? Well then, I suppose," she flicked her wrist outwards, dispersing the four clones next to her in the process, "I'll just have to comply, right?"

She then bent a bit lower, a smile creeping across her features, "But just that one time, hm?" With that, Kagami spun about, producing numerous Doubles that similarly twirled about, all of them trading places at random in an effort to confuse the woman. By the end of her twirl, Kagami had moved two meters back, and six Doubles of Kagami were arranged ahead of and to the left of Kagami herself. The seven Kagamis filled a 5 meter circle in total.

Immediately, the seven of them would split in various directions, Doubles 1-3 moving left (Kyoshi's right) to surround Kyoshi at a 10 meter distance, Kagami and Doubles 5 and 6 moving right to mirror the other three's movements, and Double 7 stepping back to be 14 meters away from Kyoshi.

Quirk Name: Double
Quirk Type: Emitter
Quirk SubClass: Special
Quirk Bonus: Double has been Granted the Bonus Trait "Persist". Creating a Replica ( Or 2 ) Requires 1 Support Card to be Spent, No Style Technique Required. From that Turn Onward, the Spent Support Cards will Remain Occupied. Grants the "Free Use" Keyword to Double, which allows Battle Cards to be Spent without Style Techniques Attached.
Description: The character manifests the ability to create a copy of any person, although two copies can be created by the creator, via touch. These copies must be perfect replicas of the original person, regardless of the state of condition that person was in. The state of condition is an important element to the replicas because that condition, when the first replica of said person is made, will determine how the replicas will always be produced until measurements are taken again.

Quirk Drawback(s):

~ Because of the Persist Trait, the character can permanently document flawless images ( Flawless pertaining to the state of condition at the time of recording ). The Role-Player must continuously update the Persist Trait through Custom Submission with a link to either a Crisis, Internal Plot, or Free-Roam Thread that reveals their character documenting the measurements and features. They can only exit the thread with two targets documented.

~ Perfect Replicas are identical to the individual in every nuance possible, which is depended on the state of condition when the measurements were documented. The replicas will not only retain the same Traits ( whether its Archetypes, Personas, and Novel ) but they will possessed the same Attribute Layout at the time of recording. Even the mental cognitive abilities of the individual is replicated, which can prove risky should the individual doubled conceive you as an enemy than the replica will too.

~ Perfect Replicas are less durable than the original individual, dissolving into vicious liquids after suffering enough damage. The Replicad produced by its creator will retain the same attribute allocation of the original, except for a One [1] Point reduction to the Health Pool. Regardless of the the number of replicas made, each one will possess their own Battle Deck.

Kyoshi jumped into action as the woman spawned several duplicates before her eyes. Normally, this wouldnt be a problem a problem for the earthbender, however there were far too many civilians for her to use a large attack. Kyoshi's always struggled with precision, but today it was time to test just how far she's come.

"EVERYONE CLEAR OUT! THIS WOMAN IS A VILLAIN!"

As she spoke, she would immediately notice something off about the formation, for some reason, there was a clone positioned in the back of the others and off to their right. Why would this clone be set so far back? If the goal was to confuse Kyoshi then hiding her true self in the back would just defeat the purpose wouldn't it? But, would this be the thought process she'd expect one to have and use it to mix up an opponent? It didn't matter. The woman had to be taken down regardless. Kyoshi would have to attack. It's worth a shot. Before the clones even had a chance to move from their formation, Kyoshi would manipulate a rock that lay 3.5 meters behind that "clone" she was eyeing. With a flick of her wrist, that tiny rock would fly towards the woman's center of her back. This rock only being 1 meter in diameter, and with the now evacuating crowd should be nearly impossible to detect. The civilians would be safe from this attack as there happened to be nobody in the path of this projectile.

Quirk Name: Earth-Bend
Quirk Type: Emitter
Quirk SubClass: Range
Quirk Bonus: Grants the ”Exert” and "Collision" Keywords to Style Techniques and Free-Form Actions. Grants the "Free-Use" to the Earth-Bend Quirk, which allows Battle Cards to be Spent without Style Techniques Attached. Posting this Parent Technique counts as the Quirk being active, this Quirk does not require Style Techniques.
Description: this ability allows the character to utilize their mental fortitude to perform telekinetic maneuvers with earth related sources. The only requirement is that the character remains in contact with identical earth material ( wanting to bend metal would require the character to establish contact with metal ). Although the abilities originate from the mind, all telekinetic abilities require physical cues such as performing arm and leg strikes ( thus Power Attribute determines Projectile Speed ). Because this Quirk stems from the mental fortitude of the character but requires their physicality to properly wield the earth once bended, the power behind bending earth is dependent on the Intelligent and Power attributes.

Quirk Breakdown:

Controlling Earth Related targets requires an incredible amount mental and physical fortitude which grants the ”Exert” Keyword to the Character. This means the maximum capability of the damage magnitude is determined by multiple attributes ( Power and Intelligent ), but not without penalty. Earth-Bend is extremely taxing and this exhaustion is represented by the Three [3] Additional Stamina Drain when utilizing Style Techniques or Free-Form Actions. Whenever these abilities are maintained for additional turns, the additional Stamina Drain is doubled.

Controlling Earth Related targets requires an incredible amount of physical fortitude alone because the weight and mass of the earth induces strain on the body. Because of the relationship between the character and earth being bended, the Collision Keyword is granted to related Style Techniques and Free-Form Actions. This keyword mandates that if the damage magnitude is equal ( or is equal in any other rubric ), then the character can overpower should their Defense Attribute afford enough sustainability.

The Sustainabilty is Determined by the Defense Attribute, which then Determines the Sustain Points. These points can translate to Damage Shaving or Theoretical Rank, if the Clashing Rubric be judged on Damage Magnitude or Rank, which can assist the attack in prevailing. For Every Two [2] Points in Defense, One [1] Damage Shaving is accumulated.

Controlling Multiple Earth Related targets requires an incredible amount of mental fortitude because the mind is forced to multi-task, which is dependent on the Character's Dexterity. The character can only maintain and track a number of targets based on their Target Tracking Clause. The range the character can maintain this control depends on the distance of accuracy, which is also explained in the Dexterity Attribute instead of the Style Technique's Rank Scaling. The character must be careful because maintaining and tracking their projectiles constitutes that they are tracking targets.

Drawback(s):

The term “Earth” includes various sources, however the character can only bend earth related targets that isn’t too refined. That aspect excludes any earth related targets except for the following list: basic metal | steel | rock | dirt | sand. Even then, sources that are grainy such as dirt and sand cannot be bended easily – thus all numerical values regarding SPM or Damage values are halved for those substances.

Due to the ”Free-Use” Keyword, the character can spend cards without Style Techniques to utilize the Earth-Bend Quirk. In the situations that the character chooses to perform Free-Form Actions. When performing Free-Form Actions, the character can only Bend an Accumulative Five [5] Meters in Diameter of Earth ( Each Target Must be a Minimum One [1] Meter in Diameter ). This means should the character bend multiple earth targets, the scaling of all of them cannot exceed Five Meters in Diameter.

Name: Rock Ya
Quirk Name: Earth-Bend
Type: Offensive | Defensive
Rank: E-Z
Scale: 1 - 35 Meters Forward | 1 - 35 Meters in Diameter
Description: The character will create a construct(s) and then manipulate it to attack the opponent. This technique is only limited to the character’s imagination. They can shape the earth to be as simple as a ball of earth or something more complex such as an earthen fist, either one shooting from the ground.

Note: Multiple constructs can be made and if so, the damage magnitude splits as even as possible

TF = you spawn clones, i attack.

`By the end of her twirl, Kagami had moved two meters back, and six Doubles of Kagami were arranged ahead of and to the left of Kagami herself.`

You have 6 doubles AHEAD of you and to the left. Youre clearly isolated from the other clones by being so far back. the range i can bend away from me is 30 meters away so youre within my range. Because of the large crowd and me simply moving an already existing rock lying on the ground, you wont be able to hear it. (You shouldnt at the very least but i will dispute it if you somehow do.)

Also, the rock is outside of the spawning rule range, meaning im not breaking that rule.

Before Kagami could begin the maneuver to surround the woman, a sharp and heavy pain surged through her back as a large rock slammed into her from behind. The wind was fully knocked out of her, and Kagami fell to the ground with a heavy thud. Kagami's Doubles, hearing this, surged to protect her once they realized what had happened. Two lifted Kagami up, while four others stood between her and Kyoshi.

Double 3, who held Kagami up along with Double 5, held a hand out and produced a Double of Eustass Kid. Once he was fully formed, Double 3 whispered hastily to him, "Please help us get out of here, Kid-sama! We need a quiet escape!"

Simultaneously, Double 2 while standing between Kagami and Kyoshi, spun dramatically and produced 6 more Doubles, and the 10 Doubles created an impenetrable wall of bodies. Kid's Double, having no visual on what was happening behind them, shrugged and touched the ground. A hole opened up beneath Kagami and Doubles 3 and 5, sending them down into the sewers. As quickly as it had opened, the hole shut again leaving no traces.

"Let's get moving," Double 5 said, beginning to carry Kagami with Double 2's help, heading further out of the city and in the direction of the Fisherman's Wharf.

Meanwhile, above, the 10 Kagami Doubles broke away from each other, spreading out in all directions and heading away from Kyoshi. Eustass Kid's clone, having begun dissipating as soon as Doubles 3 and 5 started moving through the sewers, was gone by the time the wall of clones broke.

Kyoshi watched as the clones formed some sort of wall around the clone that she had struck, surely she had been knocked unconscious. Confident that was the original, Kyoshi could still not push. She had lost sight of her target, and she was still unable to utilize larger scale attacks to knock out all of the foes before her. A second or two would go by before the clones dispersed and ran in separate directions. Unable to capture them all, Kyoshi looked around to make sure the civilians were okay before dialing the Valhalla agency and requested for backup. But for now, it appears as if the villain got away...
