Name: Kagami ( @RestlessWretch ) vs Name: Hisoka ( @Mystik )
Type: Solo
Location: Califonia, Fisherman's Wharf, District A
Terrain: Open area, roughly 40 meters in diameter, surrounded by trees, bare
Range: 8 Meters
Time Limit: 2 Days

Kagami watched the man's movements keenly - he gave off a dangerous vibe, and she wanted to be ready. His words told her that he planned to fight, though, and he began to point his hand in her direction. If he was interested in demonstrating Quirks, though, she would have to be careful. She would need numbers, if only to increase her chances of survival. Quirk battles weren't safe, usually.

Activating her Quirk, Kagami would begin a twirling dance, shifting places with her Doubles as they formed and ending up two meters back from where she'd started. The six Doubles all stood before and to her side, one of the weaker Doubles standing in the center of the group while Kagami and the other five Doubles surrounded her. Each stood equidistant from each other, to further hide Kagami's actual location - to the rear and left of the group (picture a hexagon, with a Double at the six points, and Kagami herself in the 7 o'clock position of the circle if Doubles).

Archetype: Speedster
Persona(s): Nonchalant | Sadistic
Trait(s): Martial Arts, Speed Demon, Triggered
Costume Name: Horseman's Cuirass [ Conquest ]
Costume Grade: C
  • Grants 20% Morale Point Multiplier
  • Bio-Tech: Grants One [1] Bonus Attribute Point to Agility. The weight of the Bio-Fibers possess adverse effects on the human anatomy, which results in the battle having to exhaust more Stamina to perform. Whenever the Character Spends One [1] Card, Two [2] Additional Stamina Points are Exhausted ( Even Dodge Cards ).
  • Legacy Set: Grants One [1] Bonus Attribute Point to Dexterity. Because of the connective apparatus, if the helmet should ever be compromised ( or destroyed ) this will force the character into a comatose state which effectively knocks the wearer unconscious.
Costume Description: This costume is black leather inlaid with strong bio-fibers, which is responsible for majority of the weight. Contouring to the wearer’s body in key areas, these bio-fibers work in tandem with natural movement to improve the wearer’s ability to traverse nearly any area. To prevent chaffing and otherwise ensure the comfort of the wearer, a strong and durable fabric ( colored deep midnight blue ) is worn beneath the leather. A similarly black, skintight cowl comes up to cover the wearer’s head, while a convex face covering secures in front. This covering is comprised of a durable one-way darkened mirror, which obscures the entirety of the wearer’s face, chin, and forehead. While not clear and bright, due to the tinting of the glass, the covering does fully reflect its surroundings to further hide the wearer’s face. The helmet is neurological connected to the brain, providing further enhancements similar to the bio-fibers mentioned above via increasing the wearer's perception.
HP: 5 | Stamina: 50-2=48-7=41

Power: 3 | Defense: 2
Agility: 7+1 | Intelligence: 2
Dexterity: 6+1 | Technique: 1
Map: 1 | Blitz: 2
Attack: 3 | Block: 2
Support: 2 | Dodge: 5 4
Quirk Name: Double
Quirk Type: Emitter
Quirk SubClass: Special
Quirk Bonus: Double has been Granted the Bonus Trait "Persist". Creating a Replica ( Or 2 ) Requires 1 Support Card to be Spent, No Style Technique Required. From that Turn Onward, the Spent Support Cards will Remain Occupied. Grants the "Free Use" Keyword to Double, which allows Battle Cards to be Spent without Style Techniques Attached.
Description: The character manifests the ability to create a copy of any person, although two copies can be created by the creator, via touch. These copies must be perfect replicas of the original person, regardless of the state of condition that person was in. The state of condition is an important element to the replicas because that condition, when the first replica of said person is made, will determine how the replicas will always be produced until measurements are taken again.

Quirk Drawback(s):

~ Because of the Persist Trait, the character can permanently document flawless images ( Flawless pertaining to the state of condition at the time of recording ). The Role-Player must continuously update the Persist Trait through Custom Submission with a link to either a Crisis, Internal Plot, or Free-Roam Thread that reveals their character documenting the measurements and features. They can only exit the thread with two targets documented.

~ Perfect Replicas are identical to the individual in every nuance possible, which is depended on the state of condition when the measurements were documented. The replicas will not only retain the same Traits ( whether its Archetypes, Personas, and Novel ) but they will possessed the same Attribute Layout at the time of recording. Even the mental cognitive abilities of the individual is replicated, which can prove risky should the individual doubled conceive you as an enemy than the replica will too.

~ Perfect Replicas are less durable than the original individual, dissolving into vicious liquids after suffering enough damage. The Replicad produced by its creator will retain the same attribute allocation of the original, except for a One [1] Point reduction to the Health Pool. Regardless of the the number of replicas made, each one will possess their own Battle Deck.
Martial Art Name: Eduan Arts
Martial Bonus: Grants Martial Related Style Techniques and Free-Form Actions the Swift Keyword.
Description: The Eduan Martial Arts was developed by Khun Eduan which takes elements from other fighting styles to blend into a new method of combat. The biggest contributor to the new style is taekwondo because of the fluidity and speed that fuels the value of the martial arts. Because of taekwondo presence, the Eduan Arts emphasizes swift movements to generate high impact force upon striking.

Martial Art Breakdown: Due to the emphasis on speed empowering the striking power, all Martial related Style Techniques and Free-Form Actions are granted the Swift Keyword whenever the character is physically moving their entire battle. The Swift keyword means the damage magnitude discussed in the Power Attribute is now determined by the Agility Attribute, a direct conversion ( One [1] AGL Point = One [1] DMG Point ).
Name: Vanish In The Crowd
Quirk Name: Double
Type: Support
Rank: E
Scale: Self - Five Meters
Description: The character will create doubles of themselves while moving. Once created, the character begins to swap positions with said clones while they create doubles. This results in a total of six doubles being made, thus establishing a number advantage the opponent. Should the opponent(s) lack the ability to track all seven bodies, they will be forced to lose sights on the real body.
Kagami spending One [1] Support Card while moving at 7 SPM to match the Doubles' speed, and winding up roughly 10 meters away from Hisoka after finishing her movement.

Whenever the Character Possesses a SPM Advantage Against an Opponent, the Character Counts as X Targets Needing to be Tracked, Otherwise the Opponent Cannot Track. X is Determined by the SPM Advantage Value. Whenever X Equals Three [3] or More, the Opponent(s)' Tracking Ability is Theoretically Reduced by One [1] SPM. Possessing the Speedster Archetype will Reduce the Refresh Rate of Blitz Cards to Occur ( At the End of Your Fourth Rounds ) / ( At the Beginning of Your Fifth Turns ).
Kagami and each Double count as 5 trackable targets and Hisoka's SPM tracking is reduced by One

Hisoka's attempt at a surprise attack was met by a rather graceful maneuver from the woman, akin almost to a dance, though The Magician himself lost track of her movements just after it began. An opponent this much faster than him was a problem, one that Hisoka's keen mind immediately resolved to counteract. What better way than to remove her footing?

Just after Kagami had disappeared from his view, Hisoka raised his heel and tapped it back down, releasing a surge of energy into the ground. The Magician used it to seize control of the earth in an area measuring 12 meters forward, five meters across, and 1 meter deep. Hisoka himself stood at the epicenter of the area's width. The affected area began just a few feet in front of Hisoka.

With an upward flick of his arm and a sneer, The Magician caused the affected area to shatter into 10 segments, the alignment of which he shifted to jut upwards and diagonally. The sudden shift and breakage would ruin the footing below Kagami as she moved, taking effect just after she would be creating the second Double. Without hesitation, Hisoka tightly gripped his hand into a fist, manipulating the segments to rapidly fling toward each other. Kagami and her two doubles, having been atop the affected area as Hisoka triggered the shattering, would be smashed between the segments as they collide together.

Quirk Name: Poltergeist
Quirk Type: Emitter
Quirk SubClass: Range
Quirk Bonus: Grants the "Strangle" Keyword to Poltergeist Related Style Techniques or Free-Form Actions.
Description: This ability allows the character to utilize their mental fortitude to perform telekinetic maneuvers of various nature. Via psionic wave generation, the character can interact with the external world and remotely guide susceptible targets. This psionic wave generation is invisible and always nine meters in volume ( three [3] meters in width | height | length ). Although the abilities originate from the mind, all telekinetic abilities require physical cues such as raising arms or pointing. Because this quirk stems from the mental fortitude of the character, the power behind the telekinesis is the Intelligent Attribute.

Quirk Breakdown:

The nature of the psionic energy is oppressive to susceptible targets, which is why Poltergeist Related Style Techniques and Free-Form Actions gain the Strangle Keyword in exchange for the psionic energy being able to deal damage. Whenever clashing with solids or liquids, the psionic energy will trump those targets and gain control of them. Sentient targets can resist the strangle keyword if they possess equal or more amount of points in the Power or Agility Attributes ( compared to the Character's Intelligent Attribute ) to break free.

In the circumstances that sentient targets that have been strangled are guided to clash with other targets, regardless of the nature, then the interaction becomes unique. The speed and damage magnitude of the strangled targets are dictated by the Intelligent Attribute, however the durability of those targets are independent of the psionic energy. This means in the circumstances the the targets clash against opposing targets, their Damage Shaving capability will determine how much damage is sustained despite their outgoing Damage Magnitude.

Quirk Drawback(s):

Despite this impressive ability, there is limitation to what the character can telekinetically control. The amount of targets the character can maintain and track is based on their Dexterity Attribute’s Target Tracking Clause, plus Three [3] More. The range the character can control the targets depends on the distance of accuracy also explained in the Dexterity Attribute, instead of the Style Technique’s Rank Scaling. The character must be careful because maintaining and controlling these targets constitutes that they are also tracking those targets.

Another important limitation is the weight of those targets. The character cannot telekinetically manipulate more weight than their mental fortitude can handle. Based on the Intelligent Attribute, the character can only control an accumulate number of meters. This means even if the character chooses to control one target or multiple targets, their combined meter count cannot exceed their mental fortitude: Each Point in the Intelligent Attribute Allows Three [3] Meters in Volume Accumulatively ( One [1] Width | Height | Length )

Name: Elastic Love
Quirk Name: Poltergeist
Type: Offensive | Defensive | Supplementary
Rank: E-Z
Scale: Depends
Description: The character will release a wave of psionic energy, initiated through a physical gesture / cue such as pointing or raising their arms. This psionic wave generation is invisible and nine meters in volume ( three [3] meters in width | height | length ). Whatever susceptible targets the psionic energy interacts with will become under the character’s control, telekinetically. Depending on the tactic in mind, the character can execute different tactics whether they be offensive, defensive, or supportive in nature. Regardless of which, the character can use the psionic energy to rip portions from targets that exceed the dimension of the psionic wave.

Note: When the Character activates this Style Technique with an Attack Card, the target(s) exposed to the psionic energy will only remain under their control for One [1] Turn.

Note: When the Character activates this Style Technique with a Block Card, the target(s) exposed to the psionic energy will only remain under their control for One [1] Turn.

Note: When the Character activates this Style Technique with a Support Card, the target(s) exposed to the psionic energy will only remain under their control for the Entire Battle. The Card(s) Spent Remain Occupied Until Deactivated.

The metal is made to be transparent, granting the cards the appearance of ordinary playing cards. Refined, the edges of the cards are incredibly sharp to the touch – allowing them to act as bladed weapons capable of slashing and cutting targets.

Just after beginning her twirling maneuver with her Doubles, Kagami noted a slight shift in the man's stance as he brought his heel down onto the ground. He may have been releasing frustration, given that his eyes obviously weren't keeping track of her movements. He was a finnicky fighter, with all of his strange movements.

Those strange movements became much clearer a heartbeat later, though, as the ground below Kagami shifted drastically. "Another fucking geomancer?" Kagami's first Double shouted out. Having just finished creating her second Double, she and Kagami were close enough to grab one another, and the Double took the chance to grasp her arm and throw her skyward, above the jutting rocks. Being thrown to the side, the Double had no real sense of the dimensions of the technique affecting them, and simply threw Kagami in the opposite direction of her opponent.

As the rocks barraged each other, Kagami could feel the wind from them rushing inwards as her Doubles were squished. She was keenly aware that the geomancer's affected range was still further than where she would drop, as the ground was visibly altered after having been turned into projectiles. However, at the speed they were moving, the rocks would be several meters away from her landing position by the time she reached it.

Upon landing on the ground, Kagami would immediately dodge left and move in a semicircle around the man, moving at top speed since she knew he was unable to track her movements.

Double throwing Kagami 3 meters away from Hisoka, for a distance of 11 meters, with 3 power. Hisoka's Elastic Love moves at 6 SPM, so any rocks on the 12-10 meter range would already be inside of the 10 meter range by the time Kagami lands

Spotting Kagami soaring through the air following her Double’s throw, Hisoka decided to switch gears. Flicking his finger upward, he spurred three of the segments to fly after the airborne Kagami, aiming them to slam into her body.

Free-forming spending one Attack Card with Elastic Love to send three slabs to strike Kagami as she moves through the air. 4 Stamina spent. Bombard Card from previous move doesn’t happen as the throw happens during the second Support Card from my last move.

Kagami noted the man's finger movement as she gained a few meters of altitude while the jutting rocks pursued her, and surmised that he was much akin to the previous geomancer she'd fought. His movements apparently dictated the pattern of attack from his rock manipulations, and would thus be a means of identifying his intentions, and perhaps even his moves. If only a battlefield residing on earth wasn't the situation, she sighed inwardly.

As the three rocks closed in on her, Kagami deftly blocked them, striking out simultaneously with her wrists in a Miyagi-style grapple-break that would serve to deflect the two she hit. The third would be blocked by her knee, which had shot up at the same time as her wrists circled outward. The maneuver would appear similar to one breaking through a wall, ending in an unintentional crane-like hero pose.

On the ground, having had time to get back up during this interaction, Kagami's Doubles would waste no time in closing the distance between them and the geomancer, both rushing him in 6 meter long zig-zagz to close the 8 meter distance (the diagonal movements adding some distance traveled). If either of them could incapacitate the man, then his techniques should end. The first Double created (1) would attempt to strike first, while 2 would continue to move slightly past and behind the man, moving an additional 4 meters before moving in to strike at his back.

Kagami Spending One Block Card with 8 Damage Magnitude Via Eduan arts, split between 3 against the 3 incoming rocks.
Kagami Doubles both moving 8 meters at 7 SPM (neither of which is Hisoka keeping track of to begin with, due to his technique and focus on Kagami in mid-air, I believe) and attempting to deal 7 damage back-to-back, spending Attack Cards simultaneously
Kagami currently counts as 2 Targets (moving at 3 SPM), and since you still control all 10 fragments of earth, the Doubles' SPM Advantage would set them both at 5 Targets apiece, requiring 22 total tracking. And, your SPM tracking is lowered by One, also from Speed Demon, making them too fast to track (unless I'm wrong)
Doubles begin moving at the same time Kagami addresses the incoming rock projectiles.

As Kagami deflected the segments and the Doubles were getting to their feet[per your wording (; ], Hisoka grinned and flicked his other arm, sending the remaining segments flying toward Kagami. The Doubles, being atop these segments, would likewise be sent flying.

Both Doubles, once they had achieved a semblance of a runner's position, both Doubles noted the shift of the rocks, and redoubled their attack. Rushing between the rocks with ease, and faster than Hisoka could register, they closed the distance to attack, blitzing the clown (7SPM/Damage).

At the same time, Kagami landed back on the ground before the incoming rocks could move very far, and she hit the ground running top speed (8 SPM/Damage). Moving in an arc to avoid the rocks, towards a point that was 4 meters away from Hisoka, on his 10 o'clock, Kagami would then rush the redhead after her Doubles had begun their blitz attempts.

Quirk Drawback(s):

Battle Grading
Hisoka continues to exert his dominance over the villains. I don't like how Restless is losing after getting my Martial Arts tho

Battle rewards
Attempted Prompt Rewards: State of California - Defeat the Hero | Villain
  • RestlessWretch Earned One [1] Trait For Competing.
Completed Prompt Rewards: State of California - Defeat the Hero | Villain
  • Mystik Gained 440 Negative Morale Points and Three [3] Trait Points.
Defeat the Hero | Villain ( Repeatable | Once Per Week ): As a patron for crime, your responsibility is to dismantle the institutions that are designed to oppress your freedom. Sometimes that involves you having to confront heroes of various degrees or villains just to assert dominance. Whether you are approached or do the approaching, as a villain you are to engage the hero(s) or villain(s) and defeat them. Escaping or Defeating Heroes or Villains will double the rewards given to the Role-Player.
