Possible answer about Kabuto and why he lost his mind

literally Orochimaru , this Mitsuki one shot proven that Orochimaru has the ability to create a drug that can format mind. There are some similarities between Mitsuki and Kabuto (we know kabuto is prodigy) even they so far not proven to be related but at this level is easy to put a hypothesis that Orochimaru, is maybe the only man that know everything about Kabuto.

Nah those kinds of experiments came after.

Kabuto already had a fragile mind to begin with since his childhood was screwed up.
The fact that he was used in espionage made it worse.

He simply had an Identity Problem. He just wanted to be acknowledge but his problem is that how can someone be acknowledged if they themselves dont know who they are.

So he simply copied the person he looked up to.
