In stark contrast to Manda, a snake of similar size to it, Aoda seems to be very mild mannered and respectful to its summoner, as shown when it addresses Sasuke with the "-sama" suffix and dutifully follows all his orders. Aoda is a large blue snake with green eyes who easily towering over even the tallest of humans and is easily comparable in size to the largest of summons. As Shanks sees his flaming tiger being devoured by a water technique, he quickly decides to react by slamming his hand on the ground, creating multiple huge walls of earth in front of him, to avoid the incoming water bullet. As Sasuke jumps onto his snake, making it swing its tale towards Shanks, he quickly decides to expel fire from his mouth, creating a large horizontal wall of fire, ready to make impact with the tail of the large snake, right before it was to hit Shanks.

Aoda would shed his skin just as Shanks use of Fire release obscures his vision, while Sasuke jumps above under the same obscurity. Aoda would burrow underground opting to attack from below instead as Sasuke prepares Chidori. The crackling of Lightning release should grabs Shank's attention. Sasuke would use shape manipulation for a precise ranged attack.

As Shanks hears the crackling from the lightning release, looking up, he sees Sasuke jumping over the fire wall, charging at him from above, at the same time, he'd feel the ground shake a bit, knowing that the large snake which was in front of him a second ago, was no longer to be seen, but could be underneath him instead, there was no time to think, without any hesitation Shanks quickly decides to perform his handseal, and create an earth rampart underneath his feet, shaped like a surf board, sending him horziontally to the left with great speed, avoiding Sasuke's incoming attack.
"Nice try, but I ain't sleeping"..
As Shanks sees Sasuke land on the ground where he was previously standing, he decided to jump off the earth shaped surf board and perform his handseal to exhale eight great fireballs towards his enemy, lined up, covering a wide horizontal range.
"Now, enjoy these fireballs, they might warm you up a little"..

As Sasuke notices fire nature brewing in shanks lungs. Facing his palm towards shanks he unleashes a burst of fire aiming it towards the fireballs causing them to explode prematurely. As the explosion begins to settle, an air blade would pierce through the hot air towards shanks. Meanwhile, Aoda would circle behind shanks and swing his tail another time.

In stark contrast to Manda, a snake of similar size to it, Aoda seems to be very mild mannered and respectful to its summoner, as shown when it addresses Sasuke with the "-sama" suffix and dutifully follows all his orders. Aoda is a large blue snake with green eyes who easily towering over even the tallest of humans and is easily comparable in size to the largest of summons. Like many snakes, Aoda possesses large infrared-sensitive receptors on its snout which, coupled with its perfected sense of smell/taste (using its tongue it can "taste" the air, which allows for an amazing sensitive sense which mixes both smell and taste) and her above average eyesight, allows it to be an extremely precise and acute fighter, capable of easily search and find its prey, even if camouflaged or hidden. As a snake, Aoda is extremely fast and nimble, successfully moving through an entire army of the Ten-Tails' clones, while evading all of their attacks. The movement speed (it can run and move at three times the running speed of a normal Kage rank ninja) and its resilience to damage (immune to A-Ranks) as well as the physical power it possesses (its physical blows and attacks are A-Rank) are its main weapons since it lacks the ability to use elemental ninjutsu.
