New reader looking to start hunter x hunter

Hey guys,

So I heard Hunter X hunter is a good manga, but I also heard it had been on hiatus for a really long time... I saw recently however that they have now released a few new chapters. So my question is, is the hiatus completely over and are the chapters being released regularly, or is it just a couple chapters for now and then nothing again for a year? I would like to start reading, but I already have Berserk that is 6 months or so in between chapters, so I dont want to start another never ending story. I dont mind if the story is only overall half way through, as long as there is at least some sort of consistent progression not just no end in sight.

Umm... It's currently back and the current arc seems promising but no one can say it won't go on a hiatus again.

On the plus side however, different arcs can be treated as self contained arcs. So you can just stop around the latest arc ( chapter 339 0r 340) and read it later only when it's complete.
