''Not everyone isgoing to like OP since everyone has different tastes. I personally prefer slow manga since then it gives more time to build everything up instead of just rushing it like Naruto.''

Yeah thats true, although i dont think naruto is rushing things.
I watched ep 562 a few min ago and it takes 4.40 min to start.
Totally forgot about that, its like each year you get less material to see in a episode.

Wel i hope things wil change but i already saw a weird enemy? red with tentacles in the new world? not sure.
I just wish they made the enemies/general character look cooler etc

it can;t be helped since One Piece animator animated 1 chapter per episode, that's why reading the manga is faster than watching the anime

Just to clear up the misconception about One Piece filler arcs and Naruto filler arcs. BOTH ARE NOT RELATED TO ODA OR KISHI IN ANY WAY. Making an argument about how bad a mangaka is using fillers for your reason is absolutely stupid.

Now that that has been said, here is a list of fillers for both.

Someone said OP has A LOT of fillers. Let me show you how much compared to Naruto.

For OP I counted 71 filler episodes and 13 special episodes. I'll even include the 7 recap episodes as well. That is 91 episodes not related to the original story at all.

For Naruto, the first half has 92 filler episodes (ep 26, ep 101, eps 102-106, and filler hell 85 eps).

Then Naruto Shippuden has 93 filler episodes (up to ep. 260).

that is a grand total of 185 filler episodes for the Naruto Series. Not to mention how Naruto has to recap EVERYTHING. Go watch episodes 212-215 and you will see what I'm talking about. They include like 5 mins of canon in the episode and 15 mins of flashbacks of what they did during the whole series. It really is bad.

Of course the argument now is you can always skip over that stuff where in One Piece, the extended scenes are new and never seen, but you really don't know where to skip over stuff or when it will end.

The question is which is better to do? Me personally, I like seeing stuff that is new vs seeing stuff I already have seen. Don't get me wrong, One Piece does it too, but they don't abuse it every episode.

Oh and the longest filler arc for One Piece is the G-8 arc with 10 episodes. The longest stretch of filler arcs is 3 with 13 episodes total (Post Alabasta(5), Goat Island(3), and Rulaka Island/Rainbow Mist arc(5)). Someone had mentioned the longest arc for Op was 4 episodes or something like that. As you can see it is not. Just clearing that up as well.

I always thought OP has a lot of fillers, but now i know it is not that much. As from my point of view it does the series more bad than good, cause thinking your watching fillers instead of the story itself doesnt really approve the serie is that great.

But if you count all the minutes OP wasted with the intro's, wich sometimes takes up to 6.30 min! wich is absolutely insane in my opinion. I think Naruto has more story to show than OP.
