This has probably been asked several times...but how far do you think characters from Naruto would stack up in the DB/Z verse?

I think BM Naruto could be on par with Piccolo Daimao.
Hashirama or Madara might be stronger than or equal to Piccolo JR or Teen Goku.
Itachi or Minato may be able to kill Piccolo Daimao.

Roshi blew up the moon in dragon ball and that was about 6 arcs before goku fought piccolo. The most powerful character in naruto created the moon and one of the weakest in dragon ball (not even dragon ball z or gt) was able to destroy it quite easily after he had fought a long drawn out battle and even continued to fight after he blew it up. Seriously, Narutoverse gets foddreized

But dat genjutsu tho...

genjutsu wont last forever and if you remember correctly, goku stood there and let frieza throw several energy blasts that are as strong or stronger than bijuu damas right at his face. Nothing happened to him. That was super sayin goku in frieza saga. Base goku at the end of the buu saga would fodderize super sayin goku from frieza saga. Not to mention that Goku and quite a number of dbz guys have the greatest senses in anime history and would most likely know when they are in genjutsu.

Stop using Roshi as an example. In order to blow up the moon, he had to buff himself up, which was catagorized as something similar to ultra super saiyan, which is an unnatural increase of power. This means using Roshi to gauge another's power is completely useless. On top of all this, using kamehameha drained Roshi.

Gokus power during vegeata saga was at 9000. IN the vegeta saga, vegeta and nappa were already blowing up planets. They blew up 2 before they got to earth and were gonna destroy earth as well. Frieza was ble to destroy namek which was hundreds of times bigger than Earth (i think thousands in the manga), Namek was so big that even with 2 suns, the temperature didnt fry anything. In the cell saga, cell stated that if no one tries to stop his final kamehama, it would destroy the solar system. IN the buu saga, Buu destroyed many many many planets in an instant by telporting to each and just blowing them up. In Gt, Omega Shenron had so much power, that the entire universe was degrading. Naruto does not compare.

While this is quite true, I was reffering comparison to dragon ball, not DBZ. I'm not stupid. Saiyan arc Vegeta would trash Naruto.

Either

A. Naruto fans get hyped by a character and let loose with this.

B. DBZ fans compare their series to Naruto's to make them feel good, despite the fact that it's plot, not scale that determines the worth of an anime.
