He will be almost impossible to injure and you have to hurt him so he would stay still long enough to seal- Plus there will be such a small amount of time he will be sealable after injured. 1 vs 1 with edo Minato, would be an impossible task for anyone in the Naruto-verse, living Minato is a much different case.

He was kicked in two, while in shock at the jutsu everyone used to cut the 10 tail's legs. He didn't have an opportunity to react, unlike Obito- who can just phase everything instantly. Madara's expression before and after Lee's kick, is complete shock. He then jumps away, because he is overwhelmed. He didn't react because he didn't have time too, Lee's attack caught him off guard and disconnected him from the 10 tails.
