Yes he can hit Kakuzu.

Orochimaru's kusanagi was specifically said to pierce diamond and all his Domo tanked just happened to be stated it was "diamond level". And that was a hyperbole if anything.

That's a tough one. Kakuzu is pretty underrated and he's a complete boss. But Oro is also amazing =\. It'd be a pretty epic match. Kakuzu does have superior taijutsu and chakra amount, although Oro is a bit more intelligent :s. Ughh, since Oros sword can cut through diamond and Kakuzu can make his arms only as hard as diamonds, I'll give it to orochimaru extremely high diff.
