If Kakashi knows thousands jutsu presumably more than Hiruzen or Oro, why does he only ever spam Kamui and Lightning blade? His fighting style gets sooo dull but I guess that is true for every character. I wish we could see him use Rasengan in battle!!! Lightning clones were cool but his fights always end in the same way, him almost dying of exhaustion due to Kamui or Sharingan, He is such a cool character, I think some of his potential is wasted.

Now I personally think (this could be and probably is wrong) that those 1000 jutsu Kakashi copies, he doesn't remember it. He's in the fight focusing on the hand signs to do the jutsu at the same time as them. Then short term memory kicks in and 20 seconds later he forgets the hand signs for the jutsu. I'm probably wrong but ehh :shrug:

I've dealt with these threads many times. We haven't even seen Kakashi's arsenal yet, he's fighting the Bijuus and I predict Kishi did this on purpose to expand his character. Be patient.

Yep, that's true. Copy Ninja Kakashi.
I've always wondered this as well, why Kakashi doesn't show all of the other Jutsu's up his sleeve. I guess Kishi using the same technique for every character is his favourite thing to do lol.

I kind of agree. However, Kakashi might seem more ridiculous if he continuously used a different set of jutsu every time he fought. Also, just because he knows the jutsu doesn't mean he's mastered them the way he has his standbys. I disagree that Kakashi knew more jutsu than Hiruzen.

He needs his high-tier jutsu now that he's facing big baddies. Plus, Kakashi uses deception is almost EVERY fight he's in. He's one of the more interesting characters to watch fight IMO

I would like to see more of his jutsus too but he probebly doesn't do it because it isn't natural to do all the different chakra natures

well we dont really know how well the copying trait retains information, he may not remember every single jutsu hes copied, but he has demonstrated 3 elements and high intelligence so i do think his arsenal is vast, doubt if it can be compared to hiruzen who was said at one point to know all the jutsu in konoha

as far as his fights, he deals with chakra limitations and i think he prefers surgical strikes with his raikiri/kamui rather than drawn out fights with earth/fire/water techs
