1. jiraiya's summons buy him enough time to get to sage mode, and from there he beats kakashi mid-high diff.

2. eh, could go either way but ill give it to kakashi because of his 3 tomoe sharingan, tactical smarts and wide array of abilities.

1- Kakashi wins... He can kamui jiraiya and he doesn't start in SM so he isn't fast enough to dodge kamui

2- Kakashi wins... he sliced trough 3 v2 jins by himself, keeping up with 3 v2 jins is an amazing speed feat

Jiraiya never summoned more than one giant toad at a given time, so I'm not sure where people get this idea that he is going to summon them all, if at all (since I'm seeing people talking about "toads", plural). Pain was spamming giant crabs, dogs, chameleons, and birds at Jiraiya and he still only summoned Gamaken. This shows that the contract either prevents him from summoning more than one giant toad at a time (and we've seen that contracts have limitations) or he simply isn't willing to.

And even if he summons, its not as if Kakashi is helpless against them. The chakra efficient option would be to hurl some Raikiri infused kunai / shuriken into its skull, while the more drastic option would be to use Raiden. Either way, Kakashi has a means to responding to giant summons if Jiraiya decides to bring them out.

I think you underrated base kakashi.. that kamui is restricted doesn't mean he can't beat base jiraiya, he has a chance...

He stood up to 4 v2 jins without help (see my thread) ... Kakashi currently babyshakes Jiraiyas summons, Kakashi's speed was enough to slice 4 FRICKING V2 JINS, He outspeeds Jiraiyas summons and can kill them with Raikiri chain...

While currently BASE KAKASHI is faster than Jiraiya Base... Anyways I agree Jiraiya wins, but only extreme diff... you underrate base kakashi
