In comparison to the anime because I just finished watching all 113 episodes of fairy tail and am wondering weather I should wait for new episodes or go on ahead with the manga.

Also what chapter in the manga is episode 113 based on in the manga?

what up... Episode 113 is the Serpents Pupil? Right? Assuming it is that puts you around chapters 240-280 somewhere in there... I think... And to be honest I too was attracted to this series, from tv, now I read the manga (especially since the tv isn't back on the main storyline as far as I know), and I can say the manga, is much more enthralling, I mean, it takes some creativity sometimes to imagine a scene, but Kishi does a really good job with the artwork and storyline so that's rare when reading. hope this helps

im close to catching up to the anime im like 3 episodes off and was looking to see where the manga is at and i saw that the manga is like only like 30 chapters ahead of the anime so IMO we should probably be seeing a break in the anime soon so the manga can get ahead
