Is Naruto the only one with common sense?

Kishimoto has shown Naruto to have developed into a more clever, thoughtful shinobi. That is by design. I think Kishi sometimes introduces too many hair-brained moments to be consistent with the character development, though. Having seen his recent depictions of Hashirama in flashbacks, IMO this may just be Kishimoto's style for showing humility (i.e. goof ball moments/comments = humility in a powerful shinobi). Not 100% across the board, though, because Itachi showed humility in a completely different fashion. So I guess just some of the "brighter" characters (brighter here referring to lightness of character and NOT intelligence).

Um, no..? If Naruto said he'd take care of a helpless arm pinned to the ground, why should the rest of Team 7 be needed? On top of that that, Black Zetsu cannot get out of the dimension alone, he only said he can wait for Kaguya's return, not orchestrate everything himself, like he previously did.

Either that, or Sasuke just thought he'd be sucked up by CT anyway. On top of that, Naruto had to have his moment, and Zetsu his rightful closure.

So many explanations, but, naturally, people jump to the one that will get them the most attention.

Yeah, except no. He already witnessed Juubi Madara's Chibaku Tensei which is much more powerful than Nagato's and he charged straight into it, cutting island sized boulders.

It's naruto's responsibility as the MC to take care of everything in the end. Sasuke is irrelevant now. His job is done.

i think sasuke assumed he died in the explosion. also, naruto lost his sense when he saved bz.
