Please negative knight you should really study that manga, out of all people you should be able to understand.

There's no need, if Gaara could stop Amaretsu and not Enton, Kishi would of made it blatantly obvious to his audience. I'm not underrating Gaara, simply making sure he's not overrated enough for people to think he can stop things which are said to be instantaneous.

I still maintain that you revise that manga. Sasuke closed his eye, blood trickled(sign of amaterasu) you could check the sfx near his eye to confirm and then he fires amaterasu which Gaara blocked in one panel, if it was enton which is slower it would have taken more panels. And why do you think the tsuchikage's grand daughter exclaimed, it was due to the incredible speed of both amaterasu and the sand. Just take your time to read the manga, that is all there is to it.

Gaara's sand is fast.

Shown to be able to block Amaterasu, Rock Lee's speed, etc etc..... and he's only gotten better.

Also, Onoki made it lighter so it's even faster now.

If any of you saw the video in the generations game, it clearly shows Sasuke using amaterasu.

Gaara blocks Joki boys steam explosion from point blank range....with a huge sand wall....it's fast....get over it

Please, don't get me started. Gaara blocked amaterasu and not enton. Sasuke was bleeding from his eyes and he has shown many signs that he used amaterasu, I do not have time to post pictures but you can reread the manga carefully and see for yourself. The translation of course is utterly wrong.

well the translation is backed by the official viz translation which also says that its enton [

Gaara's sand intercepted A before at the 5 kage summit.

because A was looking for a power kick not speed kick, he used his speed to vanish then he punched, his hand caught fire, he blatently punched again and went for a kick. obviously he wasn't moving a high speed since everybody in the room was able to see him and comment on what he was doing. And if you say i'm wrong karin is talking about it being smart that sauske covered himself in flames because he couldn't follow a with his eyes.
