Fast forward to the present and we have a situation in which a descendent of the original Ten tails is cloned by the new Ten tails.

And the one being cloned just so happens to be Sasuke Uchiha who is Indra's current soul transmigrant.

The Uchiha were considered to be a cursed clan until it was broken by Sasuke's change of heart. Since he is the current incarnation of Indra it was sufficient to settle the fued that spanned many lifetimes.

Sooooo what's the point? Sasuke's shinju clone wants to devour Sarada. Which means he wants to absorb her chakra and turn her into a tree like her father.

What we know about how she awakened her sharingan and mengekyo sharingan suggests that the Uchiha are now free from the curse of hatred. Indra is free from the curse and he finally gets what he wanted.

A Shinju... but it's more like the Shinju has him or it is him depending on how you want to interpret it. This is a big deal all by itself but it becomes huge when you consider the potential of Sarada's MS in the eye sockets of Hidari which gives Indra access to them.

Hidari is an incarnation of Sasuke who is an incarnation of Indra. He wants to devour Sarada. If he does that it possible for him to gain access to her MS. Her tomoe show sun symbolism associated with six paths light. Imagine Indra as an incarnation of a shinju with the power of six paths light and shadow. That would complete the journey of his soul. It would be like he came full circle to gain the inheritance he desired.

He's also a descendent of the ten tails so it may cause his evolution to be more powerful than the other Shinju's and that's why he asks questions. He's different like how Madara was different. Remember how he didn't trust Konoha but everyone else did? He wants information? They say too much information isn't good. You could have an information overload and explode just as you achieve your goals and in that moment you realize that you had been misguided and led astray. There are still so many questions and there are gaps in your thoughts. As you feel your consciousness fading you see a woman's face in the sky...
