*Sigh* and again you ignore the evidence shown in the manga that when everytime amaterasu is used it spawns nigh instantly.

You've yet to present any proof that the flames of amaterasu DON'T spawn nigh instantly like you seem to claim and thus you and your thread lacks any credibility.

And lol at you saying I lack manners. You saying since Sasuke didn't use amaterasu against Kakashi means it's not fast is a very foolish statement. Did I ever call you foolish? No, I called your statement foolish. I can't help it if you can't differentiate between the two.

Do you know.....

:DD I am so glad that you pasted these pictures.

In manga's it often hard to know if something is moving in one picture or to give something an amount of speed.

With normal Katons the flame comes out of their mouth, but it can't come out of their eyes with Amaretasu, or at least it would look messy to draw it.

In the first pic, we see the scan zooming in on Bees 8 tails form, showing the flames moving in toward him, in A's pic you will notice the dash lines indicating the momentum, it is not instant, it can be dodged at close range.

In all the pics we see the dash lines, Naruto when he saw the flames tried to dodge them.

Btw I never said that you called me foolish, you said that I was Ignorant.

Also why call some ignorant, maybe specify, or am I just ignorant in general, have you thought about using the word properly?

The flames are a projectile, which I never denied, but they appear NIGH INSTATNTLY on the focus of the users vision. I never said INSTANTLY, I said NIGH INSTANTLY.

And the dash lines are there due to A's speed, not amaterasu. And obviously it can be dodged in close range, but only someone with insane speed/reactions, which A possesses.

In all the pics we see the dash lines, Naruto when he saw the flames tried to dodge them.

The dashed lines have nothing to do with amaterasu, so I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at. Those dashes appear on all kinds of manga panels.

*Sigh* I'm not explaining it again. And once again until you can present any proof that the flames DON'T spawn nigh instantly then your thread doesn't really have any credibility. I'm presenting plenty enough proof, but you've yet to present any, which isn't very good when you're trying to prove a point.

Um did I ever say that the flames were slow, I can't think of a Katon that is slow.

I said they are not so fast that a reference has been made to them being impossible to dodge, dodging them from long range being an incredible feat.

When used against HachiBee there is a clear illustration of gradually progression towards them.

You have proven that they are not Nigh instant through your own pictures.

I also do not care for your explanation, I have no idea who on earth you think you are.

Amaterasu is instant, it appears wherever the Sharingan is aiming for. Even at the moment Kishimoto showed A's lightning fast movement in very slow motion, Amaterasu appeared before him.

- Do you see Amaterasu arising slowly before A while he is dodging from it with lightning speed; showed in slow motion?

- Amaterasu is appearing on Danzo.

I don't know why people are always bring up discussions where the Manga proved it already otherwise. Even if Amaterasu isn't appearing before its target, who cares, this makes it not easier to dodge.

Ummm why does a reference have to be made about something for one to think it's true? If the manga clearly shows it then it's true.

The fact is there are NO manga panels that show amaterasu taking it's time to hit the user. The flames spawn RIGHT after the user says amaterasu and the jutsu is used.

Lol more like nigh instantly considering the flames hit its targets practically right after the user uses it.

If you can show me a manga scan showing the flames of amaterasu not appearing nigh instantly then I'll gladly conceit this debate. I'm about to anyway since I'm about to go eat xd

And it's kind of hard to dodge the flames when the target can't even see the flames before being hit.

Alright in this picture the dash lines are shown the flames are also in a ball then the left hand of the panel shows the black flames engulfing Sasukes flames.

Please take a look at the left hand side of the panel. This shows the black flames stage by stage approaching the Hachibi

It is not stated in the Data book that Amatereasu is that fast, yet for some reason I have to prove it is not.

Prove that it is, instant or neigh instant I want an actually feat not your interpretation of something which happens to be different from mine.

You made the claim that it is Nigh instant, prove your claim.

Katons are fast, the Hachibi is huge, it's not the speed of the flames that has ever been emphasized as it's power but it's inextinguishable nature, and it's tenancy to burn almost anything.

The first picture shows how Amaterasu is devouring Sasukes Katon, what do you want to tell us with this?

And i don't see Amaterasu traveling in your second picture; the next one of the chapter shows how it arises directly before him, as well as it arose always before its target.

In the right panel of the first picture it clearly shows it traveling as a projectile.

In the second picture I was illustrating that kishi zooms in on the Hachibi's face indicating the path that amaterasu took towards it.

To use Amaterasu you need to concentrate a lot, and that creates a pressure that the opponent could feel and try to dodge or protect against.
This pic explain it perfectly:

Using arrows is better cuz you can release it really fast

You can see Sasuke's head turning meaning that there is an over lap of past and present in that first scan.

When someone does hand signs and says the name of their Ninjutsu the the attacks comes out instantly too, but it does not hit instantly just as Amaterasu does not.

Don't you think kishi would have mentioned something as significant as instantaneous, or horrendously fast, when describing those flames if it was true?

You did not prove it you gave an interpretation of Amaterasu's speed based on a scan, which we disagree upon.

Instead of speaking as if I am wrong present your opinion while accepting that it is just that

In future consider having enough faith it that you do not have to present it as aggressively as you have done today.

That along with insane speed, reactions and information are needed as A had.

Naruto only knew to get out of the way because he already knew exactly what amaterasu was and the effects it gives off, but that's not really the same as dodging the jutsu. It's more like he avoided it before it was ever used.

Naruto would've had to use his speed if the jutsu was used directly on him, which Itachi could've done had turned his eyesight on Naruto.

It's what i'm saying. If someone is fast enough he can even react before the jutsu is released. Look carefully at my pic. Bee had enough time to throw one of his weapon on Itachi. If Nagato wasn't there to push it away with Shinra tensei, maybe Itachi would have had a great hole on the head at that time
So i think it's why using arrows is better cuz you can realise the jutsu much more faster and that could surprise the ennemy

Ummm no there isn't. Sasuke says amaterasu and the flames appear right then and there and thus they appear nigh instantly. If they took time to appear then there would've been several panels in each scan waiting for the flames to appear and there isn't.

When someone does hand signs and says the name of their Ninjutsu the the attacks comes out instantly too, but it does not hit instantly just as Amaterasu does not.

Now you're just twisting logic to try and suit your argument.

Amaterasu appears nigh instantly on the target of the users vision. Basically the flames appear at wherever the user wants to strik the target with amaterasu right after saying "Amaterasu" as was shown in said scans.

You saying other shinobi's jutsu appear instantly after doing hand signs is completely different because they don't strike their taret nigh instantly as amaterasu does.

Don't you think kishi would have mentioned something as significant as instantaneous, or horrendously fast, when describing those flames if it was true?

Ummm no. It doesn't have to be emphasized for it to be true as I just showed you with the example of SM Naruto's speed never being emphasized.

You did not prove it you gave an interpretation of Amaterasu's speed based on a scan, which we disagree upon.

The scan is proof enough. Hardly any time elapses from when Sasuke says amaterasu and the flames spawn on its target.

Instead of speaking as if I am wrong present your opinion while accepting that it is just that

I've already shown you manga scans that prove you wrong, so if you want to keep denying it then by all means go ahead. It's hardly an opinion when the manga agrees with it. That's when it becomes fact. The manga shows the flames spawning on their target right when amaterasu is cast.

You said the flames don't appear right away when I showed you they do.

In future consider having enough faith it that you do not have to present it as aggressively as you have done today.

Lol what? I've presented my arument while being perfectly calm. I can't help it if you can't see that. This is how I debate, so if you don't like then simply don't respond(no offense).

I know what you're saying, but like I said one would require extensive knowledge on amaterasu to know to do that and even then the person using amaterasu could just focus on their target again and use the jutsu.

Anyway I'm now done.

When I presented evidence to contradict amaterasu's speed it was called plot yet I must interpret your scans as anything but plot, despite the fact that it is clearly shown as a projectile with gradual progression.

Yeah you are done here, you have used the same argument over and over, despite the fact that I have pointed out that the scans can be interpreted differently.

In the scan you show me of Sasuke using Amaterasu as a shield, Kabuto was right there in front of them, why not use it on him it would have ended the fight.

Blaze release would be used to prevent Kabuto's death, but my OP is blind plot no jutsu and yours is logical reasoning.

You are seeing what you want to see.

Other than a giant (as Ama is virtually guaranteed not to miss when fired at one even at long range) who has Sassuke used Amaterasu against at long range??

Why didn't Sasuke use Amaterasu on Gaara, he used blaze release instead, plot no again right....or maybe it was because his blaze release is was as fast as Amaterasu, and thus there was no need to summon more flames.

The speed of Susanoo arrow has been noted, yet the speed of Nigh instant Amaterasu has not?

Common, I using reason with you here, and you are purposely not even considering it.

Btw

You can clearly see the turning motion here in the middle panel of the scan.

he did not have chakra for that mostlikely.. he barely held the susanno up for 3 seconds, you think he had enough to use amaterasu?

Not to mention at that time he was just about almost blind..And amaterasu is an ocular jutsu..... Meaning he wouldn't be able to use it properly in that state

There are many reasons as to why he didn't use it...
