Ichigo has all the powers brought forth in the series he is not his actual son i am betting him to be his descendant through his mothers side like an ancestral son.

I think what they are trying to take the plot to is that his mom was that douch's bitch and he left her when she was secretly pregrent and then she had Ichigo at the soul society where they took her in and she fell for ichigo's dad and they got married in the human world and had his sisters then she got killed and blah blah blah...
