The power scalling is way to high for a show that use to have Jounin, experienced shinobi, fighting and engaging in hand to hand combat and mainly relying on that. Madara, freshly revived, destroys the landscape casually with meteors and then changes it with massive Mokuton. One of the reasons he's been boring for me, he's always been too powerful with no problems at all. It would of been far more interesting if he was closer, still above, but closer to the Gokage in terms of power. But. . .My core point is that Madara - if he were to be revived - shouldn't have been so strong to begin with. If the scaling were to remain constant it should'nt of had anything to do with the RS. What exactly is Shinobi about that?
A true Kage Level fight was never actually shown in part one, we saw Oro outclass and go easy on a heavily weakened Hirizen. That's it.
It's now "AMATERASU SPAM!" or "HOPE YOU CAN DODGE BIJUU BOMB!". It's not creative nor is it fun to watch such things. Checks and balances earlier in part two made this. . More workable, but still unpleasant. Such as the MS, or Itachi's reservation against using his MS techniques so liberally. And then the recoil that effected him afterwards.
I am not a fan of Naruto controlling Kurama either. That was one of the points I thought Naruto, the character, was known for. Having this uncontrollable force of nature that could tear everything he loved apart that he had to keep in check of himself to not let out. Now he abuses it's power. .
