Boruto is born by byakugan princess but he is no where inherited her abilities/hamura power not even hagoromo power. Can Boruto will be someone hungry for power just like Orochimaru and Sasuke after all the Boruto movie show that he will whatever causes get the power even in wrong ways. Born with hyuga as heiress but not able to use byakugan, air palm and jyuuken make his less hyuga will turn him to show different path to get its power by recreate the Energy weapon and get his tenseigan?

Boruto meet its way to follow sasuke which like it or not Sasuke black history is not a thing that can easily removed or forgotten for civilian even the new kages is quite okay with him. Boruto hates kages maybe grown into further and he maybe decide to leads the world in revolution? We maybe can meet toneri once again if yes Boruto is in bad side of the coin...

The Otsutsuki plot is dried up. And for the most part, Toneri is the last of his Hamura lineage, outside of Hinata and the Hyuuga Clan (and their children).

Maybe he will lust after power since Kishimoto wants him to "surpass his father", who knows. At this point there's no continuation for the story, but the theory is redundant. He would have to BS Boruto which leads to shity character development >>>> Gohan.

I don't understand what you are trying to say here. If he doesn't have the Byakugan, how would he even get the evolved form, the Tenseigen?
