How Naruto & Sasuke will both save the world ( possibly )

Post war arc they will have their match. Naruto will use a deadly jutsu, realizing Sasuke has no hope of returning, and Sasuke will use izanagi to escape death. Naruto drained of chakra will wait but quickly thereafter something catches his attention. The moon. Sasuke casted izanami on the moon. Every shinobi looks at the moon. They're all caught in a loop until they realize that jutsus, war, and the way of the shinobi is wrong and that love and understanding are the only way to peace.

Sasuke collaspes losing both his eyes forever and Naruto easily breaks out of izanami. He picks Sasuke up and takes him to the entrance of the leaf. Hours pass as people start to break free and denounce ninjutsu and they notice a worn
Naruto standing over a blinded Sasuke. Naruto looks up with his head directly positioned beside tsunades on the hokage monument as the sun rises over the top of it. Then it ends, implying in order to break free of izanami they had to give up being ninja thus correcting the sage of six paths mistake for spreading ninjutsu, and thus violence and war.

You will excuse me if I doubt that, the war existed before the Sage's time and war was around before the existence of ninjutsu, that's why he went around preaching peace.

Not a bad theory. However it seems kind of strange that a manga would be based on ninjas and not end with ninjas.

You're right. But it wasn't ninjutsu wars. Probably just war with swords.

Even then Sasuke can't cast Izanami on the entire world, that would be a ridiculous ending.

Not to mention that so far you need to be a Juubi Jinchuriki to cast a genjutsu that big, Sasuke doesn't have nearly enough power.

Interesting theory, it wouldn't be a bad ending, but it would leave many of us sitting here thinking WTF?! Sasuke can cast genjutsu on the entire world?!

This implies that ninjutsu causes people to be evil. this is incorrect. People's motives, not their means, cause them to be evil. It would be the ending of Battlestar Galactica all over again. Nothing has been set up to establish ninjutsu is evil. Thus, it can't be crammed into the ending.

Both will use deadly jutsus. Sasuke (being Sasuke) will use deadly jutsu first. Angering Naruto who then then uses deadly jutsus probably with the excuse of breaking Sasuke to drag him back to the village. or he trusts that Sasuke will dodge, so Naruto is trying to exhaust his chakra, as Naruto has infinitely more chakra than Sasuke does. Naruto couldn't kill Sasuke after he had attempted to murder Sakura. What could Sasuke possibly do worse than that? He couldn't kill Pain who he had no connection to and had killed Jiraiya, Kakashi, probably Hinata, and the whole village. An idealist like that won't kill his first bond.

my thoughts: Naruto will obviously win, but will refuse to kill Sasuke in order to surpass Hashirama. Sasuke then surpasses Madara by returning and accepting that he can never be Hokage.
