I agree Hidan did get trolled. I wonder why Kishi did not show us the fight between him and Chiriko and his fight with the Two tails jinchuriki. It would have been nice to see how he fought them. Hidan has a 5 in ninjutsu but Kishi only showed us one of his ninjustsu.
People tend to underrate Hidan and when he is paired up against genin/chunin level ninjas in a 1 VS 1 in VS threads, that is when he is underrated. He is a deadly 1 VS 1 character and it is dangerous for 99% of Narutoverse to engage him in CQC.
Also Hidan didn't get Shika's or Kakashi's blood because of plot or else they'd be dead. Even though I like Sasuke, I think Kishi should have made this arc longer because both Kakuzu and Hidan only survived for one arc. Kakuzu came back but Hidan didn't which sucks because Hidan was an entertaining character.
So all in all I agree that he was trolled but people forget to say he was and they say the other Akatsuki members such as Sasori and Kakuzu were trolled more when in reality Hidan got trolled worse.
At least those guys showed us a lot more and they both have better feats than Hidan. Also it seems like Kishi is both an Itachi and a Shikamaru fan boy.
