Try going to settings and testing multiplayer connection. If not, just reset router.

Yeah that's why I'm suggesting him to return his xbox 1. PS4 >>>>> Xbox One, by a landslide. There isn't even any good xbox 1 exclusives that are worth buying for it's p2p (pay 2 play) online. H2 anniversary, arguably one of Xbox's iconic/best exclusive has poor matchmaking services. It takes a long time just to find one game.

PS4 exclusives are shit, anyways. At least Halo is a good game, even if it's just repolished and has shitty matchmaking. I'd take a game like that over any shitty PS exclusive.

And, at least I can play my games online, without having constant maintenance work and servers down all the time Lol

That wasn't the point. There isn't games for XB1 that are worth buying.. Halo MCC is the only good thing going for XB1 atm but look at H5, it completely deviated from what Halo has always been. That exclusive died off with H4 and doesn't even come close to the population H3 had daily. Nah, PS4 exclusives & the console itself spanks Xbox sh*t.
