I'd have to say that gai would also win this one. The deva's taijutsu is not as great as gai's and gai could defeat pain in between uses of shinra tensei. If pain used chibaku tensei, then gai could use his strength to keep himself from being sucked in by gravity.

deva path wins by far because unlike guy, the deva path can level a village and beat up gaint toads with out touching them and can make a moon like to see guy do that i would have said killed his rival but he did sorta have help with that

You see, while Deva path throws the black mass into the air, Gai will shove his gated foot up his ass, therefore ending his life. Either that, or he'll just Daytime Tiger the small moon.

yeah he can, but re-watch anime, it took him some time till he 1st made that that little black ball and THAN released it, and you actually believe that Gai at speed of 6th Gate will let Deva just do what he wants?
